I thought this would get your attention. :)

I've come upon two recent decisions (Oct. 2007, Nov. 2005) from the same Municipal Court judge in Laval. He basically says that even normal $10 dance strip clubs are "bawdy houses", and he convicted the numerous people present.

So, FYI: http://tinyurl.com/48d632 and http://tinyurl.com/4qdmpa

Lessons: Avoid Laval clubs? Stick to outcalls? Save money so that when you're arrested you can take the case to the Supreme court?

GLAD I FOUGHT MY CASE, TOOK ME 6 AND A HALF YEARS, AND AROUND 10 GRAND BUT I WON.! that does suck though, what;s the problem ? it;s not like it;s not 2 consenting adults . and when I got charged i was only getting changed not even dancing, but accused of being found in a bawdy house. if i had been doing something i would have taken my punishment. but i decided to fight , NOT be charged with the owner.s drug charge which he got less slack for in exchange for more charges against the girls, just my thoughts

Yeah!! you GO Girl..
EVERYONE knows what goes on in the Laval clubs... if you don't like it, don't participate.. or better yet stay the hell out and go downtown.. at least the girls would know that if you are there you are there for them, and not just chugging a beer. as for the judge... 2 busts in 2 years? I get into more trouble than that by not cutting my lawn fast enough...can't worry about everything people or no one will enjoy life at all!!! (just my 2 cents)

1. Geez all the girls are named.

2. Seems no customers were charged.

3. Interesting:

4. She lives in Longueuil and pays:

6. A student of "bodywork" seems right to me:

La défenderesse, Mélanie Mathieu, a affirmé lors de son témoignage qu’au 8 février 2002, elle étudiait en carrosserie.

Laval Strip Clubs

In the late 1970's / early 1980's the Laval SCs began the trend towards contact dancing.

If said this before cops should be out solving murders and

cleaning up our streets of gangs and drugs not bothering with

these petty things.

What about for those who like to go to strips have some drinks

and enjoy the view as opposed to a regular boring bar.

Time to get back the real strip-tease, erotic shows.

Where Girls are exhibitors and Guys are spectators.

...in a drugfree environment.

no pimping , no street gang boys.

Girls in early '80s where earning $1000.00 a week, 3 days work, $5.00 per dance. NO PROSTITUTION.

Now, the poor girls have to do way much more to do the same income.

Girls just want to have fun, let's go party. Sitted around the sceanyone kept you for less than an hour which was 80 per hour aah the good old times!
Guys were running to see exceptional show like Miss Bebe Papillon.
yup i agree! when it was 5, per dance .we made a lot! then at wanda's it was 6 per dance , or 80 per hour and the money just flowed,,,,, aah the good old days!

Funny (although stupid) defense

LOL: This girl is really funny :D . Too bad the judge who condemned her had no sense of humour.

(My free translations)

She declared that, since she wanted to act legally, she called the police to get advice: she mentioned the St-Jérôme police station, then the provincial police and finally 911. Although she couldn't remember at what time she called, she pretends to have been answered that $10 dances are legal.

Ms Mathieu, the defendant, did not earn any money from dancing on stage. What is the logic when she pretends that she remained seated at the bar to watch and learn from the other girls whereas all the revenues were earned inside closed booths?

THIIS WAS MANY YEARS AGO!AND I DO NOT APREIAUTE BEING I NSULTED BY PRIVATE MESAGGES! thanks/.
Sierra... I don't understand at all... I sent you no PM, zippo, zero, nada.... (if I did I hereby give you permission to post it publically) all that I did, in public, was quote what you said here in public... from the first quote I misunderstood that you were found not guilty and that you were happy even though it cost you $10,000... the second quote seemed to say that you were convicted but were given a discharge...

I have raised absolutely nothing that you haven't raised yourself in public....

There was no intention to insult you.... if you were let me say 2 things:

1. You were insulted by what you yourself posted, and

2. I regret that I offended you... it wasn't my intention.

(You'll see from what I quoted and Sierra's post above that she has changed her post... it was while I was preparing my reply (curiously it doesn't show that it has been changed)... perhaps her new post clarifies things a bit... but I think my post is still relevant)

As a flogger of dead horses permit me to add: there is nothing in my post to suggest anything recent...

PS... for your eyes only Sierra ... will you marry me?

Sierra... in my quote of your post you talk about a PM and its easy to get the impression that I was the author... would you please be kind enough to confirm that I DID NOT PM YOU... I would appreciate it very much...

Sarcastic, probing may be my style... some might add smart ass.... but nasty PM is not... pas de tout tout tout tout...

Merci mille fois...
