What was with all the parties?

It must have been proms and graduations as school finishes in late June here !

You got it !

Also you got St-Jean Baptiste !

Just in case for some that don't know what's going on at this time of the year.

June is not only the end of schools...

We start June with the Grand prix, then all the festivals starts (Jazz is coming up), we have all the fireworks, then you can get a 2 weeks holiday just by taking 4 days on your holidays because we have back to back holiday (24th June and 1st of July).

Lots of people take part or their vacation at this time.

Plus it's moving time that will climax next week-end before July 1st.

Again, in case some of you don't know. In Quebec the majority of leases ends July 1st. So it feels as if half of the population is moving.

Thus creating new friends and... having fun.

Many, many other activities are going in July like all the dancing competitions.

Add the celebrations in Quebec city about the 400th this year and you get a lot of people on the move this summer

For Sec. V students (last year of high school), the final exams are in mid-June.
