Hello,

I hope someone can help me.
There is a commercial which I believe is promoting living in Quebec.
In the beginning, a cute girl with a ipod starts lip syncing a song in French then moves to other people lipsynching the song. Two girls in an office setting. Guys playing ping-pong. Then a guy going down the stairs and then moves scene to scene where at the end they all are singing the song outside in the street. Sorry I couldn't be more descriptive. At the end I believe I saw the words Quebec and working.

Is the song in the commerical a real song or just a jingle?
If it's a real song, it is a male vocal. Could you tell me who sings it and the title.

Thanks

Got my answer

Someone sent me a PM telling me the song in the commercial is Besoin pour vivre by Claude Dubois. The commercial was actually to promote physical activity. Thank you to the person who helped me out.

Now the hard part, finding that CD in a store here in Toronto.
Oh well, life is not easy.

Joyeux Noël et bonne année

Go Habs Go !!!!!
Missing my favourite French teacher and Habs fan always

Hi Redstorm,

This commercial is on Youtube:

The original song was by Claude Dubois was a big hit in the seventies.
However, my favorite song is "La chasse-galerie", a fantastic song. There is a good version on youtube with Garou, Eric Lapointe and Claude Dubois (Dubois is the last to sing).

Thank you Elvis for your great help.

For the past 2 years I have been trying to immerse myself in Quebec culture from watching movies and listening to French music. Having a great French teacher helped alot.

Hopefully next summer I will be able to attend the Francofolies.

Happy Holidays.
