Need help planning a trip to Varadero Cuba

Happy New Year everyone!

My friends and I are planning a trip to Varadero Cuba. After searching the Net I have to admit that I’m still pretty much lost on choices.

We’ll be 8-12 guys 30 years old looking for a great beach, a few rounds of golf, decent food and pretty female tourists, We’re not looking for SPs.
I’ve been to Varadero once about 3 years go. Stayed at Melias Los Americas. Facilities and food were excellent but the other guests were 90% much older than us and really was not a fun place to party. Also way too many couples.

Here is the breakdown

Decent rooms (by Cuban standards)
Groups of single female tourist
Good food
Nice beach (I think this is a given tho..)
Close to/or offers golf packages

For all the ladies in the forum… where have you been to in Varadero and had a great time?

I do not know if in 1 year it has changed, but I was in Paradisus Varadero last Febr and it was pretty much aligned with your needs (I do not know about Golf though)

When I last went, I had considered the Paradisus.

However, I get the feeling it caters to the same crowd as the Melias. Older folks and families.

Can you briefly describe the atmosphere when you were there?

It probably just happened that there were lots of mid to late 20ish-mid to late 30ish single people and young couples at the very moment I was there. It was through the end of february. My buddies and I have spotted during that week several single females (I did not count, but easily around 20/25 gals) from Chile, Quebec, The US, Australia, Spain, Italy, Germany (from what I could recollect. Might have been other nationals I may have forgotten about). They were not FHM material, but mostly pretty (anywhere between 6.5 to 8 over 10 with respect to the pickiest scales).
I was mainly focused on the locals (I always make friends with the cool Gents
on the Beach or restaurants/bars and they found relatively pretty cubans ladies for me, particularly in Matanzas which is not that far)...so I can't tell how these single women (tourists) were open, but my buddies had fun/intimacy with a couple of them. With that said, please keep in mind that it was probably just circusmstancial and may not be like that all the time. Regards, Monk
