Most of us are hypocrites, to a certain extent, by nature. Your reaction is not surprising at all. I feel the exact same way.

Same goes for legalizing certain drugs (great, just not for anyone in my family), or tobacco... adults should have the right to smoke, but if I ever caught my kids smoking, they better hope to die from lung cancer, before I get my hands on them.

The list goes on and on and on...

I believe that "sex for money" between consenting adults is a good thing and that it should be legalized too. AND, I'm not hypocrite. If my daughter want to work in this industry then lets go... If she want to be a stripper then I can suggest her some good club and help her too since I hobby. If she want to become an escort than ok I'll be good with that..... If she respect herself and she dont do things she don't want to do then I have nothing against this.... I'm open minded and I respect her choices...

I agree 200% with you!

Maybe its because I'm still young (in the 30's..) but since my daughter is 18 years old it happen sometimes that we go out in a club or whatever together (she bring her friends and I bring my friends). But many fathers that will be like in 50's will not really enjoy that her daughter is a stripper or escort (ils n'ont pas la même facon de voir les chose). I can understand that its not cool to know that your daughter is being touched by many boys and old mans but hey I prefer to see her in this way than to see her working in a stupid McDonald like a slave for 8.50$/h!

Well, shes not a stripper but she is thinking to become one... So she told me this and I told her its ok and I'm walways gonna be there for her but the money she will make is for her and not for a pimp or a "lazy boyfriend" like you are saying.
