Unhappy Sad news...Dom DeLuise dies at 75

Dom DeLuise, one of my favorite funnymen died last night. I remember him in the Cannonball Run films causing everyone else in the film to crack up with laughter. He will be missed.

And the Lord said unto John, "Come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster.

    Hello all,

Dom Deluise always seemed like the kind of guy it would be great and fun to have as a friend.

    God Bless,

I always remember the classic repeat line of one of his routines,

"Save it (applause) for the end!"

There was often a bit of warmth to his comedy, mixed in with the clever humour. I suppose in the end he achieved fulfillment in his life having, for a moment, taking people away from their everyday burdens. Maybe that's the best comment you can make about any successful comedian.
