Just "saw" an escort for the first time in my life (long time lurked). She walks in and asks me if I think she's pretty. I'm nervous as hell, offer to take her coat, and try to make really bad small talk. She makes the call, comes back out and says she's not comfortable with me. I ask her what specifically and she says she doesn't want to go through with it. She puts the money back on the table, turns around, and leaves. I count it and it's $20 short.

Since I have no basis for comparison I'm going to leave the girl and the agency out of it unless they want to make that info public.

I feel like shit.

I'm in Montreal 2 more days. Help!!!

I called the agency and aaked why. They repeated the "girl wasn't comfortable line. Told them about the stolen money and told them to keep it. Refused offer of a different girl.

was it a reputable agency who advertises on here or someone you found off craigslist or announce or the likes?

I would try a "sure thing" like KIM from Devilish
or TAMARA from Girls on Fire.

Oops, I had mis-read, I am understanding YOU refused their offer of another girl.

If the agency was Devilish or Girls on Fire (or XXXTASE, MSC, etc)
then I really think you should consider the offer of another girl.
THat first girl might be new or having a bad night, it could have NOTHING to do with you.

Don't sweat it, there are plenty of other fish in the sea. Maybe you reminded her of an ex boyfriend or something stupid like that, I would only be pissed off about the $20!

It was an agency who advertises in the Escort/Agencies section.

That doesn't necessarily mean anything!

However, agencies like Devilish, Girls on Fire, Eleganza, XXXTase,
Montreal Sex City, Satin Dreams and Asservissante, Geisha (among others)
are legitimate operations trying to provide you what is advertised.

Unfortunately there are paying advertisers who are just trying to play with you... see the Bait and Switch thread for names.

Otherwise, don't get down about this... try another girl or another agency.

Good Luck!

There are some hobbiests, myself included who believe in establishing things like whether she is comfortable with you, restrictions etc. Although in this case it seems strange if you presented yourself well, didn't look like Quasimodo, were clean and polite. I would not want a girl who was not comfortable with me. Would you? Just imagine the encounter you would get. It may have been that she was playing you for her own advantage but without proof such an assumption may be unwarranted.

If you refuse a girl it is customary to cover the expenses for the driver $20. However I think that in this case she just might have got it wrong. Since she is the one who canceled, the driver fee is her responsibility. You definitely should call the agency and if you do not get satisfaction then bring the details to the membership here -which board, which SP etc. Several agencies are sensitive to their image on the boards and $20 is a small price to pay for ensuring a good one. Worth a try!

Thank you for the kind words everybody but I feel that this is not a minor thing. There is literally nobody in my life who I can tell this to in detail and this forum is not the place. If you are a professional psychologist in Montreal or know somebody who is and has time tomorrow morning then please PM me.

@regularguy The girl stole from me but I am not in the mood to start a shot storm just to get $20 back.

@Edgar The girl was the one advertised - not a B&S

Guys before giving advice based on guessing as to what may have happened, why not read Salinars posting history first.
This sounds like an Obvioo7 and Virginie type case
In any event she shouldn`t have taken the 20 bucks.

Just be grateful that she returned all your money less 20$. Usually once they take your money your not getting any of it back.

But then again I've never had this happen to me and most of the time the girls that I've been with don't ask for money up front.

Actually, Salinar my reasons were twofold. You are right about the insignificant amount. My other point was that raising such points in this public forum helps keep agencies on their toes. It would be nice if she thought twice about pulling that stunt again with one of the others here. Just a thought!

Hmmm, if by "this" not being a minor thing, you mean being turned down by an escort, well, it is in fact very minor! I normally get good reactions from girls I see because I'm quite young I guess and decent looking BUT on at least two occasions I've met girls who treated me like the plague; I wish they had walked out and left me the money to be honest. That's out of 20 girls I've met so that's like 10% of the girls... I don't know what I would have felt like if that had been my first experience but probably not good!

I really think you should try again before spending the money on a psychologist instead!
If you call back the agency the girl was from they may even give you a $20 discount!

However, by all means see a therapist tomorrow if you think you need to but I really hope it isn't on account of this event...

she's not in the wrong...

I re-read the constitution and here's what I found:

1. There is no provision that the escort must stay and go through with the date
2. It is a 2-way agreement where either party can refuse to proceed should they wish to cancel for reasons of their own
3. We have no idea as to what you might look like physically (size, color, handicaps, etc), or what odors you may be giving off, and what sort of vibe you were giving her - meaning that if it was your first time you were perhaps quite visibly nervous...and thus scared her in return. Rather than taking a risk of being tied up, beaten, robbed or worse, she decided to leave, keep the standard $20 for the driver, and leave. At least she was straight up about not feeling comfortable.

If only an escort had to pay me $20 everytime I've wanted to refuse a girl...I'd have $60 by now...

All this to say - don't sweat it.

Mr J C has a good point here... you may have been so nervous she freaked out.

Also, if by chance you booked with Girls on Fire tonight, well, I think they had two new girls and if it was one of them then I think we can guarantee that this had absolutely nothing to do with you. A new girl could easily just realise that this biz isn't cut out for her.

Go with the assumption that this was just bad luck and, if it is an agency with a good rep, I would go with them again and hope to get the $20 back!

I've been lurking long enoughbto know I'm out of line here by withholding the agency name/girl but I would rather keep the agency out of this thread.

wishing I was in Montreal
Salinar,

All of us have had issues during our hobbying experience. My very first encounter was the absolute worst encounter, and I wasn't going to try again. If it weren't for a couple of other guys who helped me out (good ole Lyla's List guys), I wouldn't have met a 2nd SP, which turned out great.

I've read your posts in this thread, and I can't figure out what you are asking. What's the emergency, and the help you require?
- It can't be that your experience never got off the ground... it happens. You lost $20. If she was going to rip you off, she would have kept the entire amount!

- It can't be the emotional harm. Nothing happened. If you are that fragile, this certainly isn't the hobby you should pursue. The typical "relationship" between hobbyist & SP is illusory, not real, fleeting, temporary, fake, acting... if you can't deal with that, then don't!

You went from "There is literally nobody in my life who I can tell this to in detail" to needing professional help? How about meeting some of the MERBites at Cleo's tomorrow night, drink some beers, and talk to guys who have been where you are? I'm sure there are some volunteers in town, and it'll cost you way less than a shrink.

I know this will come across as a bit harsh, but the truth is just that sometimes...

Regards,

Voyager

Salinar, what's your nationality if I may ask? Besides, don't sweat it if she wasn't comfortable, certainly no reason to feel like it's the end of the world and start making shrink appointments...Geez!!
