But how the hell they can do it, i mean they don't know how much client a girl can see per days, it would be easy for her to screw them back. I mean at 200$ by the hour or so, think about that, 2 client a week even at 50% taxe you can live , at least where i live, i make around 800 per month and live with a colloc.

So she can say she saw 3 or 4 client the whole week, and pay the taxe only for them, and she can do many more on the side...

50%? Wow, c'est de la taxe ça!

En fait, l'article mentionne qu'elle devrait aussi payer une TVA de 19%, donc ironiquement un total de 69% de taxes.

Plumbers, taxi drivers, and almost anyone else can also get away with tax evasion. The government has ways of detecting this in many cases (eg: lifestyle /cash flow analysis).

The revenue people have models for every business niche that are accurate to within 3-5%. The problem is that those who try to get away with tax evasion never agree on how to do it so auditors see interesting data like two pizza restaurants in the same area order nearly identical quantities of ingredients BUT reporting sales that are 50% apart so one is evading.

That is why the recent raids were a joint police/revenue effort. They needed the data to update the models for agencies on the net. How much GST/PST is being evaded by the "service providers", etc.

Mademoiselle, you bought 30 pairs of panties, ten bottles of perfume and 3000$ worth of makeup this year, our mathematical model tells us that...

But this is relative. I mean first if the girl pay in cash, there is no trace of anything at all. I may be old school but i really hate "interact", i always like to pull out the money and drop it in the face of anybody im buying stuff. I always know how much i have left, and never have to look at my bank account, wich i use only to pay bills at the beginning of the month and thats it.

And after that, who force a prostitute to do a certain ammount of clients...its not like the restaurant exemple, the girl can say "i do only 5-6 clients per weeks" because it pays the bill and she dosen't want to do more...

Not really. More like agency AA, spent $x on advertising during the year, had Y girls working at $180 per hour, T phone calls and M emails. Advertising should be about 8-10% of revenues which should have generated about 12.875% in GST/PST which we did not get nor our share of taxes on net revenues.

The work logs for the ladies pro rate down to, resulting in an estimate for each.

Remember in tax situations the onus is reversed. Proof must be made that the revenue dept. figures are not reliable and the the taxes are not owed.

I was actually kidding but thanks for the analysis! I wonder how many independent girls pay taxes, agencies must and I guess they must have employee records...
