NYPD and NYPD: Criminal Intent, which are still shown now and then on various channels, are still great.

Game of Throne fans - A new teaser was dropped yesterday. Pretty cool and whets the appetite for the final season in April. The Starks united, but where is Bran? The lone wolf dies, but the pack survives. Note this is probably just a teaser, not a scene from the upcoming season.

I am a 60 Minutes - 20/20 news program only guy now. The TV shows today are crap, especially the re-makes like Magnum PI(g)
and McGyver.

I really liked Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Of course I loved GOT. I also can recommend Fargo the series. I've seen the first 3 and they ere all different and all good. One that was pretty good that I'll recommend is Ozarks.

The Deuce, HBO series set in 70s NY city about the beginning of the porn industry.

I love GOT but my favorite show now is Vikings.

If you like Vikings then you have to watch The Last Kingdom and in a similar type of historic drama with power plays and lots of blood and gore.... Marco Polo

Game of Thrones returned last night with a slow episode filled with reunions. Meant to setup the final episodes of the series. But where was the reunion of Jon Snow with Ghost? Poor direwolf seems to be forgotten. Lowpoint - Daenerys and Jon flying dragons off to their secret hideaway. I thought I heard strains of "Love is a Many Splendored Thing" as they flew. I even think the dragons were rolling their eyes over the kiss.

The first episode of GOT may have been slow but i felt it was amazing nontheless, never did i looked at the time or whatever and when it ended i was like "thats it?? already??" i could had kept watching for hours.

As for Ghost i think its because they want to save cost on CGI, he was supose to be part of the battle of the bastards but they had to cut him due to cost.

HM,

I would agree with you that even though GOT episode was slow, it was a great setup of what is to come. I do believe that at some point Dany will make the upmost sacrifice of her life to save Westeros showing that she is a true leader. (And I still want Ghost to appear at some point.)

I would like something actually surprising for the end of GoT, but I've lost faith. I expect it to end with Dany and John, with no interesting twist. (The walkers are just evil, Cersi is the final fight.)

I will be very happy to be wrong.

Yeah Cobra Kai does count... lol. Can we watch it on youtube red finally in Canada? Last season i just couldn't cause they where not accepting subscription from Canadians. So i had to use "other means" and it was hard as hell to watch.

Back to GOT (watch out SPOILERS) lots of peoples were disapointed by the last episode because of the story part, but i am not one of them. Honestly i don't know what peoples expected.. Did they tough the Night King would make a chat about his background? We already know pretty much who he is , how he was created. Some peoples expected a huge twist that he was Bran in some time travel alternate reality thing... But personally i never liked these fan theories at all. The whole White Walkers story to be honest was never my favorite in the show. They are there from the start but yet almost nobody (that live) encountered them, the "free folks" lived there whole life up the wall and it only happened in the later seasons they got decimated by them... I dunno really they where just never that interesting. They served more as a plot twist to unify Jon and Dany and make the show longer. Plus having that big battle kinda make the battle against Cersei more equal. Cause even with the gold company i don't think she had a chance.

As for the final blow, IM FINE with it being Arya. Everybody wanted a 1 on 1 with Jon and yeah it would had been great, but it would had been a bit predictable. When Jon see him, im like "ok final showdown, Jon kill him and every zombie dies" but nop... things turned out differently, i was legit starting to think they would loose, that lots of major characters would die and it would end up being the White Walkers vs Cersei lol, things look like Shit, Jon is pinned down, Bran is about to die, i was like "damnnn" and then out of nowhere BOOM, i cheered too !! lol

Now stuff can still happen with the last 3 episodes, i heard that the ending would divide fans. Does Cersei win? Does Dany betray Jon or vice versa? Im eager to see it.

Yea, it was a great episode, but also a bit disappointed. I liked Arya delivering the blow (I also cheered), but I felt it ended too upruptly. would have liked more night king and an extensive battle of sorts. Also would have liked to see some one on ones with the White Walkers with other main characters; see th Valerian Steel/Dragon Glass in action. Guess it just seemed rushed.

Has Jon Snow actually won any battles as a leader? He seems to get bailed out at the last minute by someone else. His battle plans never seem to work. And who had the idea to put the women and children in the crypts with all those dead bodies while awaiting the NK who can raise the dead? Maybe the war council should pick a new leader before the final battle with Cersei? Lol.

I agree that "Jack Ryan" is a very good series. I watched season 2 the day after it came out. Can't wait for season 3!

Current series i'm watching are 'Watchmen' and 'The Crown season 3'. All very good!

I'm not sure if this should be part of this category but the PBS series "Country Music" from Ken Burns is absolutely fantastic! It actually might be his best documentary ever although 'The Civil War' and 'Baseball' were both excellent as well!
