The frustrating thing is that the stores will give you about 10 percent of the price of what they will sell it for. The secret is waiting and getting as many people to know that the cards are available.

i have a huge baseball card collection, some older nhl cards as well, and went to dealers looking for value years ago, DONT always believe what they tell you...... they are salesmen and will tell you anything to get a deal and a steal from you...... btw, i think i have a couple gretzky rookies, any idea what their worth? i have not been in the "game" of trading in years and i wouldnt sell them anyways, not now......

You could always try to sell them on e-bay. I just did a quick check and Gretzky rookie cards are selling from around 350 to over a thousand bucks depending on the quality of the card I guess.

The key to selling collectables is time. The guy that buys, sells and trades will give you nothing because he will tell you he has to wait for a buyer. Thats how he can pay you nothing and then sell it for 800% to 1000% profit. Hold on to your stuff if they will pay you crap for it.

Allo Panthere,

p.s.maria tu me manque......;)
