I recently enquired about making an appointment with a high dollar agency. They asked my for my full name. This is an outcall agency. Is it common practice for them to ask for your REAL full name? And is it common practice for you to give it to them (instead of making one up)? Do the ladies ask to see your ID once they get in the room? I have never booked with this agency before. Do any agencies you know check to see what your real name is with the desk clerk at the hotel (or have someone working on the inside giving it to them)?

I have searched for this topic using terms like "real name" and "anonymity" but I cannot find a satisfactory answer for this.

This is not uncommon with HDH’s and indies. They want the full name of the person whose name the hotel room is under. I have used the companions a few times (also when they were Montreal Girlfriends under Alex) and don’t mind giving out this info. I have used a few outcalls in Toronto and it’s the same routine, they want the name the hotel room is under when they call back to confirm the appointment. I have never been asked for i.d. in Montreal or Toronto (only places I have hobbied in).

If this is something you don’t feel comfortable doing, then try Satin Dreams or Asservissante, Martin will only ask for your first name, so you can make one up. Eric, who used to be the evening booker at Fantasme would also only ask for my first name, but I think he recognized my voice and always knew I would be asking for Crystelle !! :D

My answers are yes, no, and no.

All the HDH agencies seem to want to know your full name. That isn't a problem for me, but it is one of the reasons why I don't post details in my reviews that would allow the agency to connect the post with my real life name. Not that it much matters, given where I am in life, but there's no point in giving them leverage.

I've never had an agency ask for ID. However, they all call the hotel room in advance to confirm, and they need the full name to get connected to your room (hotel policy at almost every hotel I've ever stayed at, for security reasons). And, since you have to show some sort of ID (even if it's just a credit card) at the front desk, I assume that they are comfortable once they've called and asked for you by name that you are who you say you are.

It's really quite simple. The hotel cannot give out your room number. The only way the agency can connect to your room is by calling and asking for the name under which you have registered. And unless you are interested in pissing money away in life, you have booked the hotel through Priceline using a credit card which presumably has your real name on it. There is just no way around using your real name, unless you want to spend unnecessary sums of money.

I have never had any agency ask me for ID in Montreal, this is a practice that only occurs in the USA.

Agencies do not ask for "real names." This would be highly indiscreet. And they don't give a shit what your name is so long as the guy in the room bears the same name as the guy who booked.

To the original poster: have you never hobbied in Montreal?

I could see that locals might have an interest in using John Doe. The only problem there is that you probably have others registered under that name, so when the agency calls, which John Doe do they get patched through to? Same problem using any common name........if someone else is registered under that name, the call might go to their room. For this reason I always use a middle initial.

I have had the agencies ask for the first name. However, some agencies in the states will only take your appointment with your real name because they ask for your phone number also. These are agencies that have girls that do incall at hotels, where the girl travels. I asked why and they said they want security for the girl. I guess if you are in a hotel room, they will take your word for being Sadam Hussein, as long as you don't have weapons of mass destruction.

By using a registration name different than your real name, you immediately draw suspicion upon yourself.......I can understand why someone might do it, but if there is ever a situation that leads to you being questioned by LE, or hotel staff, for any reason unrelated to hobbying, there will be a presumption you are up to no good.........there is also the little problem of family or friends needing to contact you and not being able to do so if you are registered under a bogus name.

Look at it this way, with every HDH agency, you book by email, and no matter what email account you use it is ultimately traceable to you if that email is found. At some point you have to place trust in the HDH agency.......you can call yourself any name you want, but the email is there, and with it you are there, and there ain't nothing that you can do to change that.

Maxima,

You don't know your room number until you check in. So how can you give it out when you book the rendevouz a week earlier? In most cases, the booking is done well before the check in date.

SL,

You have no choice but to do so - your email is there, whether you like it or not. And it is beyond your control once sent. It may get deleted, it may get forwarded to someone else. It may not get deleted and may get downloaded by LE.

Never considered this, eh, SL?

Maxima,

The HDH agencies call an hour beforehand and they ask for your room number. In my case they would never know it in advance because I book while in the USA. IN and companions call an hour before and ask your room number. This is the common practice.

Maxima,

In that situation, no real name would be needed. Maybe just a name so that the girl would know how to greet you, rather than saying, "hey, dude!"

SL,

My post is self explanatory, I am tired, and going to bed.

SL, I think what EB is saying is that he does not have a way to email them because he is coming up from the US. So he gives them his name and hotel he is staying and they call him an hour before his appointment to confirm. If I am wrong, he'll tell you tomorrow, I guess.

My point related to the storage of personal emails sent to agencies. I am not saying an outcall agency would ever get busted in Montreal, but if they were, and your email is saved, it is traceable back to you. If I am not mistaken the New Jersey bust of the agency that was touring girls in the USA resulted from the tracing of emails in both the USA and Canada. So the point was no matter what name you use, the source of the email could be identified if it got into the hands of LE, and therefore you are required to trust the agency, SL's silly and naive remarks aside. With an agency that tours in the USA, this is a slightly higher concern in light of the New Jersey bust. By this comment, however, I am not suggesting that anyone stop using any of the agencies that tour in the USA or that the touring agencies don't delete their emails. I really don't know what they do.

There are ways around the e-mail name problem. Use a hotmail account, or any other similar hosted e-mail. You don't have to supply your real name and address when you open a hotmail account, and you can pick an e-mail handle and a password that are in no way connected to your real name or to any other e-mail handle or password that you use. If you want to be really really paranoid, open that hotmail account from an "open" computer, one that is in public and that doesn't maintain a record of who is using it, and only access it from "open" computers. CompUSA stores often have "open" computers, public libraries may as well.

Before we get totally paranoid, though, are there any recent reports of anyone actually being busted in Montreal when using a HDH agency? I thought the issue was more that the agency could use your name to embarrass or blackmail you, I didn't realize people were actually worried about LE.

You guys again miss the point. I have proof of an agency forwarding to a third party confidential information contained in an email. I'll not get into the particulars, other than to say it involves names. I really think you guys just need to live and learn. Y'all don't know as much as you think you do.

If Cops can infiltrate biker gangs and other criminal groups, they sure can infiltrate little escort agencies. Question is do they want to ? Cops here in Qc only repress crime when it starts getting out of hand and affects and bothers the general population therefore creating pressure on the politicians who then turn to the cops for concrete actions.

That's what happened with the Biker gangs a couple of years ago when they arrested hundreds. Recently we had a couple of incidents with street gangs in MTL, people started complaining and they now decided to do something about it starting with more police presence in "hot" areas.

Now does it bother anyone when I meet and SP at the Chablis ? I don't think so. Nobody knows about it ! Well that's what you have to ask yourself. Unless it's done on the street or it involves drug traffic or minors, escorts don't bother the public, so it doesn't bother cops !

Now does that mean I'll give my real name to any SP or agency ? Of course not, but it's not because I fear the MTL cops. It's for other privacy reasons.

I agree with MG that LE is not to be feared in Montreal, as far as outcall agencies are concerned at least. I'm also not too worried about an agency using personal info for blackmailing. I believe their explanation about requiring this info to protect their girls. On the other hand, I wonder if a private investigator, perhaps hired by a spouse vying for an advantageous divorce settlement, could get his hands on a client's emails. Or if a private attorney, hired by the same spouse for the same reason, could subpoena an agency's register and/or hard disk, as part of a divorce case?

PS: I'll meet your paranoia and raise you a reurosis.:D

As soon as you use a computer at your home or office, you can be traced back!
Remember "mafia boy" and those others who were tracked by authorities (spammers, wormers and the like!).
As far as private investigators are concerned, they won't go to Court, they have their own ways of getting info (whether it can be used in Court is something else!). I have seen what those can get! Unbelievable! Your private life is no longer private.
At the same time, the kind of activities practiced by many of us is of no immediate interest to LE in Montreal, unless they are in for something else and you happen to be around!

It's beyond my understanding as to the reasons to disclose to an agency private information about oneself!
If you have a guest/sp at home, don't complain later!
