Is the SP Action Really That Slow This Summer?

I was just talking about this with my buddy that travels with me to Montreal at different times during the year. I was always under the impression that the SP scene is busier in the summertime but your observations are pretty much what I have noticed as well. Montreal really come alive in the summer time, which means much more visitors, which should mean more SP's working.

Good question, Daydreamer41. I was wondering this, as well. I've only been part of this subculture for less than a year, and I intuitively anticipated that SP numbers would increase drastically in the summer with school being out and all. I don't see this being the case, though. It would be interesting to hear from people who've been doing this for a while. Are there certain times of the year when fat rosters and new faces are typically the norm, or is there simply no ryhme or reason to it all?

My guess is that there are many SPs that take the summer off if they can afford to do it. They are replaced by students that SP during the summer months.

I can't speak for the agency scene.. But the Indy scene is at an all time high!!

It's becoming a problem.. Actually choosing, out of the past 10 I've seen, there's been 8 new girls..!
I would like to repeat, but there's a new bunch of girls every week it seems!!..

Rates are $300 per day on weekdays or $500 per day on week-ends (plus expenses= hotel, restaurants, clubs, gifts).
