Most people i know on this board use either Priceline or Hotwire when booking the Hyatt. The most i paid for it recently was $84 per night. I usually pay between $60-70 for it. What i'm saying is that even though the intent is good, i doubt many people here will jump at the offer. Good luck!

for $600 doc can stay 8 to 10 nites. so the ?'n is how many nites will your gift cards get him for $600? the rooms booked thru hyatt would have to be less than $125 per night in order to equal his current method.

You can't use those cards booking the Hyatt through Hotwire. Using them directly, you'd wind up paying the rack rate which, for the Montreal Hyatt, is currently $172. Those $500 cards are worth about $250 each.
The mounties always get their man.
