No fix for DirecTv and probably none for a little while. And for ExpressVu, NFL package is only available with a Nagra2 card and there is no hack available for that either.

RG,

It is rather what instead of who. Hacking can mean playing with without any specific goal. In the computer world hacking largely means bypassing proctection like passwords, keys, test cards, etc. What JaJ probably meant was that a solution to bypass the latest security algorithm from ExpressVu will soon be available

DISH Network.

Find anyone who can hack Bell Expressvu and they will be able to help you with DISH.

BTW you can even use modified Bell hardware to get DISH.

I know a guy who's getting the Direct TV equipment very, very soon.

This machine cost them $20K that does the P4 & other cards.

I also heard the same thing in Toronto that Direct TV will be back soon.

But do you guys think it's a good idea to be publically talking about it here on an internet forum?

This may make it harder for us to even get Direct TV as the service providers may also come across this forum & decide to crack down on programs.

But yes Bell can be converted to Dish Network.

Since it's already been said, that's all I'm going to say.

I think with subjects as this one, we should leave it for private discussions.

Okay, then if we're not concerned about chatting about satellite systems in public.

I have a very good question.

Would anyone purchase satellite equipment from EBay?

They have some pretty good stuff for low prices as you know it's basically an auction & if nobody wants to buy, the price goes way down even below retail value.

I have another link for Dirtect TV.

Is this link for American customers only do you think?

Johnny:I wouldn't worry about talking satellite systems in a public forum. There are already plenty of satellite discussion forums on the net.

As for your link; Yes this is an American Directv Reseller by subscription only, to U.S. only.

As for buying equipment, check this out.http://www.buysellzone.com/search/s.asp?VID=009195E4-BF43-4906-811D-D43162748B1A&sm=s&s=1219

Correct me if I'm wrong but there's no problem talking about it.

Giving detail like where to buy a satelite and how to install it
is illegal. That's why you have PM.

If only I knew...
Buying BEV/DTV or "hacking tools" on Ebay

You might have problems if you pay via PayPal as they will block any transaction they suspect is dealing with illegal matter (CAN subscriber buying US equipment or vice-versa, buying "pirate" cards ect) PayPal will keep the money!!! No refund to you and no payment to seller!
Ebay will remove the auction and void the bids but usually are not too fast to react.
And don't forget, if you intend to hack, dealing with Ebay/PayPal, it leaves a nice paper trail...

Does PayPal always keep the money & stop the bidding?

Yeah that's what I thought that dealing with EBay leaves a paper trail IE a delivery address.

What about using EBay.ca as it's Canadian Vs Ebay.com?

I've felt inspired by this thread in the last few days to touch base with my DTV contacts to see if a new hack is on the way. They tell me no not in the near future.:(

As for Ebay and Paypal, I picked up a virgin P4 yesterday (a little speculating before they’re $300.00 USD) and paid using Paypal.

Tonight I received an email from the seller saying everything was okay and that the card was shipping out tonight so at least in my case, there hasn’t been a problem yet.

PayPal/Ebay

Ebay does stop the bidding. They will not stop you everytime, only if they spot it or if they get complaints. Having the bidding stopped is no big deal but, the PayPal way of doing is more of a problem...
PayPal only "hold" the money but doesn't stop the bidding. That mean you can "kiss your money goodbye" and the seller will then probably file an Ebay "non-paying bidder" against you so, a negative in your Ebay file...
It's more risky to have problems if you do business with a trans-border provider since it will have to go tru customs...
Check "google" under "satellite hack" and you'll find an amazing quantity of good info.
