As much as I want it to happen...........I'll believe it when I see it! They were up 2 - 0 in 1986, too! They lost then 4 - 3!

Don't get your hopes too high...not just yet!

Boston is known as having loser sport teams. Remember back in the spring, the Bruins were leading our Habs 3 games to 1 but still manage to lose the series. Maybe the Red Sox will once again find a new way to lose!

    I say Cards in 7.

It'll be a different story in St L, wait til the sox pitchers have to swing a bat and run.

What do you call the New England Patriots 2 out of the past three years Super Ball champs! AS for the Habs beating the bruins did they win the Cup? NO they did not! No one remembers the second place team let alone the forth best team. It all about the wins baby, and right now Boston is one game away for being a championship town in the two biggest team sports (revenue) in North America

    Cool

During the post game they were talking to Pedro, he said they weren't going to let up despite being up 3-0 and took a swipe at Sheffield and the Yankees, something about what Sheffield said when they were up 3-0, what did he say ?? something in the papers that the Yankees were going to relax a bit since they were up 3-0 on Boston at the time

Shout out to the Red Sox Nation, I hope you win tonight, too bad it could never have been an Expos-Red Sox world series though

Patriots 2 out of of last 3 Superbowls and probably going to win again this year.
Red Sox up 3 to 0 (getting the brooms ready) 1918 was a long time ago, I'm heading down to Yawkey Way for the party.
Anybody recommend any SP's around Boston?

    Let's Not Forget

Let's not forget that the Yankees were 3 outs away from sweeping the Red Sox, and if Mariano had been himself, they would have swept the Red Sox. Those are the facts.

Sorry EB...the Sox had Rivera's number all year long. Destiny has finally taken shape with the Red Sox winning the World Championship in a landslide sweep over the pitch lacking Cardinals.

I swore to reserve comment until the WS was over and now all I have to say is "F the curse!!!"
