Merb's survey on the war between the board. Sondage sur la guerre entre les forums.

I am wondering how many people feel to be concerned by the war between few people on 2 different boards, for one, and for second, I am wondering how many gentlemen and ladies here are really comfortable about the fact that a boycott is proposed against the escorts-agencies-advertisers "over there" (and only for this other forum), and this, no matter if they are advertisers or members on Merb.

I know there's a lots of hobbyists who are seeing escorts who are not advertised here and they are making freely some reviews of them, so this is permitted to exchange about a provider who is not a advertiser or also, simply, a board member.

That could be really good to know how many people over all the hundreds of members of Merb are approving this tactic or not.

I am suspecting this is just a war between, at best, maybe, 12 people, and all others don't give a ... about it.

So, to have the truth, let's see what the people here will say.

I am curious to know how many people on Merb are really approving your tactic. So, we will see by the poll.

What I could see, is that you are maybe, 12 in total disaccord and disrespect, over hundreds of members, here and there.

I am going to make a poll there too.

    Thanks

So Maria, you have decided to start your own thread on this matter instead of contributing to the other thread! Some people mentioned elsewhere that you are graving for visibility, unpaid visibility that is. Though, I hope that given the number of views that this thread had got, you do realize that MERB gives you much more visibility than smurfland. It is your call now to decide what better fits your needs!

It might be a good idea to merge this thread with the Insults one. There is no point of having multiple threads talking about the same topic.

Based upon the statistics SO FAR, it looks as though almost 70% of the voters DON'T support a boycott. The question is, what size sampling constitutes a true statistical indicator?

I'd say about 600 votes. We also don't know how many aren't comfortable even making their opinions known. We also don't know how many are not boycotting but are re-ordering their to do lists, with merc advertisers dropping down.

Also, with things as slow as they are, it doesn't a) take a lot of regular hobbyists to have an effect b) take a lot of calls not made to these agencies to cost them more business than the trickle brought in by merc.

Remember, the point is not to boycott. The point is to get the merc advertisers to cancel their worthless ads over there.

    Hello everyone,

Just a notice that later today I will be merging all posts from this thread that do not deal directly with the poll into the main discussion thread on this subject. Having this topic split in two different threads serves no purpose and I will ask all members to post in the primary thread and leave this one for voting only.

    Thank you,

    Hello everyone,

It seems that things are getting a little out of control here. One poster has been banned for posting personal information and the post removed. Others are getting a little too hot under the collar. While this is understandable under the circumstances, it is time to cool things down.

This thread has been cleaned. The appropriate posts have been moved to the main thread, off topic posts have been removed. This discussion was permitted in the goal that something might be accomplished, not for MERB to become what members are protesting against.

Please make any posts not directly related to the results of this poll in the main thread. Any posts from this post on not related to the poll will be removed, not moved to the main thread. I have more important things to do than spend my evening moving posts. Please think before posting.
