Delta Mtl or CV: Access Restrictions?

Any info on access restrictions like elevator key cards or an SP-unfriendly environment for any of the following hotels?

    Delta Montreal
    Delta Centre-Ville
    The Omni

I want SP's to come and go freely. Are any of these 3 hotels preferred by SP's.

I have used the delta on president Kennedy before. It was fine. I don't recall key access in the elevators for the non executive floors.

Delta CV and Omni, no elevator key needed, never stayed at Delta Montreal.

I have stayed at the Delta Montreal several times. They used to require room keys for the Signature Club floors 24/7, but they do not anymore. I was told at certain times or when certain guests stay there, they may require the room key to access that floor, but they will tell the guests on those 2 floors when they invoke the security. The Signature club floors are the 2 top floors. They cost more or they may give you an upgrade. But there are room keys required for any other floor.

The Delta Centreville is fine. I never stayed at the Omni.

I have stayed at all 3 hotels, many times. The Delta CV is a better hotel than the Delta on President Kennedy. I believe what Daydreamer said on the Delta PK is correct. It used to be that if you stayed in those Executive rooms, you would need a room key to get to those floors. Although the Delta CV is the better of the two Deltas, the Delta PK allows upgrades for $15 to a better and bigger room, and they have balconies on which the escort can be allowed to smoke. The Delta CV has no balconies, but their restaurant is much better, the facilities and rooms are nicer although the location is not as good. The Delta CV is a 3.5 star and the Delta PK a 3 star on PL based on past history. I last got the Delta CV as a 3.5 star on Hotwire for $73 in October 2009. Certainly worth it at that price.

The Omni is a 4 star on PL, but it is badly in need of upgrades for many years now. No restrictions as far as rooms and the hotel is better located than the two Deltas. The rooms at the Omni might be a little bigger than the two Deltas so long as you do not have a PL or HW booking, on which they try to stick your ass in a small corner room, unless you squawk like a seagull and get them to move you to another room.

If you stay at the Omni self park in the lot on Metcalfe which is around $16 otherwise the Omni will gouge you on the valet parking. The Metcalfe lot is across the street from the Omni on the other side Metcalfe (ie the east side).

The Omni is sort of an antiquated hotel lacking in modernization, however, they do have free WiFi which is more than can be said for the other PL 4 stars who should be ashamed of themselves for charging for WiFi.

You should not have any escort access problems at any of the 3 hotels.
