    Does the Escort Industry Cycle?

Does the Escort Industry go through cycles? If so, at what intervals or based upon what events can we identify these cycles?

  2. #2
If you mean does it go out of favor and them come back like fashion, no it does not. It is more likely to follow economic trends.

Qualified yes. Usually there is a spike around political scandal or publicity as such events tend to liberalize viewpoints.

In the last fifty years you can see the spikes. Starting with the Perfumo Affair - 1963, Gerda Munsinger, Xaviera Hollander, thru Clinton / Levinsky and so forth.

Not sure that it may be viewed as a true cycle - four seasons but their is a definite progression, spiral like to greater openness and acceptance.

At a local level this may vary and the impact may not be a strong across the board be it at the municipal,provincial/state, national levels.

More specifically do the types of make up of agencies cycle? Do the SP's cycle? Do services cycle? Is it better based upon a particular season? or happening?

For instance, is it true that there is more new talent every Fall as the coeds come in from the provinces?

CS Martin, I see Fall as the Entry Draft... there's always going to be a new crop of rookies entering the league annually.

Doesn't anyone else notice a solid trend towards 30+ SPs? I'm all for more mature SPs getting into (or staying) in the mix.

Good questions, CS. I've pondered some of the same questions too in an attempt to pick the best times to travel to Montreal. I've planned my trips intuitively based on reasonable assumptions such as the one you mentioned above (new talent every fall), but I can't say that I've really found many predictable patterns. Who happens to be on the roster on a given night has always been a craps shoot for me, no matter how much logic I use to game the scheduling of my trips.

    Aeolus,

Yup, same here. You can plan and plan, but sometimes you get nothing and other times a grand slam. I remember two nights of duos with the same ladies, then other trips total disappointments.

Ha! I just realized why they say "Often, women varies ..."

Although common usage refers to the average menstrual cycle as typically 28 days, a large study of more than 30,000 cycles from more than 2300 women came to the result that the mean cycle length was 29.1, with a standard deviation of 7.5 days, and a 95% prediction interval of between 15 and 45 days.[26] It also came to result that cycles lengths between 15 and 45 days, in turn, have an average length of 28.1 days, with a standard deviation of 4 days.[26] A smaller 2006 study of 140 women found a mean cycle length of 28.9.[27]

Draw a comparison with Florida when the winter talent arrives from up north.

I almost posted asking to narrow the subject away from a woman's menstrual cycle, then I got to thinking the vast majority of SPs are women. You can't have a valid discussion without it. OK, so we know that's one of the keys. Next.....

After the Holiday season is time when I see a higher than normal # of SPs in the market. Like everyone else, they're motivated to pay off holiday bills from shopping + vacations.

You have to consider the key holidays + ideal vacationing periods of the yr when looking at SP availability.

I avoided commenting on the crimson tide... every lady is different though some ladies who work together swear they're cycles are sync'd. Who am I to argue.

I think the Montreal escort industry has been on a long "Recycle" trend. Meaning that the girls just keep bouncing around to different agencies over and over again instead of the agencies finding new fresh talent for us to bang.

Inelasticity of demand due to elasticity of the male organ.

This is what I've been hearing. Even the "great sultan of new talent" has been doing a little recycling.

    Reminds me of CFL QBs.

I don't notice that trend of high volume recycling... there are plenty of new SPs joining the ranks. POV: Is it possible that veteran Hobbyist have increasingly particular needs/tastes leading to higher repeat rates? I can see that happening since TOFTT doesn't always lead to a great session, leading to repeats with tried and true sure things.
