Why can't I get such an agent working the booth, especially when passing back into the USA?
I'm hardly shocked by the story. Every profession has a few who slip through the cracks (i.e. airline pilots who fly drunk, doctors and nurses who abuse prescription medications or murder their patients, lawyers who commit fraud, teachers who fuck their students, priests who blow their alter boys, military personnel who commit espionage, etc.).
No matter what a person does for a living, two things must be remembered. First, regardless of his profession, he's still a person. And second, people suck.
