What is likely to get him fired are the anti-gay remarks, although his general tone was not very professional and even if it was spoken to a few coworkers those are the kinds of statements that lead to complaints.

I always thought airline pilots were more likely to cheat on their spouses than any other professional, simply because they are always on the road and there are so many opportunities. This guy seems to hint at that kind of lifestyle. Just about every airline pilot I have known is either divorced or has marital issues.

On a related topic, last year I learned that I had CSR which is a temporary vision impairment that often afflicts airline pilots. It's considered to be stress related but the precise cause of it is unknown. In my case it manifested as sudden extreme blurriness in my vision, and an inability to read restaurant menus. I suppose that the long hours, the visual intensity of the reading all those instruments especially during takeoffs and landings, and the many strange cities must take their toll on airline pilots.

Here are some conversations that airline passengers normally will never hear. The following are accounts of actual exchanges between airline pilots and control towers around the world.

Tower: "Delta 351, you have traffic at 10 o'clock, 6 miles!"
Delta 351: "Give us another hint! We ... have digital watches!"

"TWA 2341, for noise abatement turn right 45 Degrees."
"Center, we are at 35,000 feet. How much noise can we make up here?"
"Sir, have you ever heard the noise a 747 makes when it hits a 727?"

A student became lost during a solo cross-country flight. While
attempting to locate the aircraft on radar, ATC asked, "What
was your last known position?"
Student: "When I was number one for takeoff."

Now you think pilots are bad ?... think about cops :D

Here's another one of those "pilots"

A pilot for Swiss International Airways decided that enough was
enough at the London City Airport security checkpoint.

Instead of complying with all staff instructions, he dropped his pants and
underwear, completely exposing himself, and asked whether they wanted to
"search this".

I'm not sure what part of being asked to take off his belt and shoes
prompted the outburst, but a source is on record saying nobody understood
why the pilot lost his cool and that he might have been "having a bad day".

His antics meant 37 passengers were delayed for 2 hours while government
staff investigated the matter.

It could have been worse though, the incident happened at the staff-only
checkpoint, so no passengers had to come face to face with the half naked
pilot. Of course, if this happened in the US, they probably would have
emptied the terminal for fear of a terrorist penis attack.
