My preferred general term for an adult female human is also "woman". However, I may use the term "girl" for younger women, for example those in their early 20s. I also use the term "lady" as a term of respect. My use of the terms "girl", "women" or "lady" does not depend on the person's chosen profession, whether "paid sexual companion" or something else. I do not believe an escort would be offended by the use of any of these terms.
