Merb unavailable from my Iphone today !!

I can get on the home page but after clicking on "I agree" I get a message saying impossible to access! I tested other websites and they all work fine from my Iphone and of course from my laptop it works. I am with Telus

Someone else has the same problem?

Well I have the same problem though it happen only from a 3G connection with WIFI i'm able to load the merb forums..

Does my carrier block merb?

I get the same, I have an iPhone and from Telus. I can also access merb with wifi. A few days before Merb site would say that my token has expired, no idea what that means but it can never be good when your Token expires!!!!!!

Why did it suddenly changed? I already accept cookies and am also with Telus.

Maybe a Mod could tell us if changes were made

As far as I am aware no changes have been made to MERB recently. I do not believe there are any changes that could be made which would affect accessing MERB from any particular browser or connection method. I suggest trying to access the board by it`s IP address directly, instead of https://merb.cc, to see if it makes any difference: 64.34.138.59

Hi Mods,

Hostname and IP address do not work on my TELUS phone also. The exact same thing hapenned with Bell Mobility a few days ago. It started to work again on Bell after a couple of days but the issue is still not resolved completely. The site comes up 1/3 of the time.

Might want to contact namespro.ca support and have them contact peer1 to have them check the routing tables on a few of their routers, and have them check name entries on DNS servers. Looks like ns1.peer1.net and ns2.peer1.net do not have entries for https://merb.cc. Since the site is hosted in one of their data centers, they should have an entry for the domain on all their servers and IP routing info on their routers.

Traceroutes originating from TELUS and Videotron are different even after hitting the Peer1 network.

I will contact Fred and get him to have one of his admins look into the situation. I will post an update when I have anything to report.

For what this is worth, I have a US based iphone and have no problem logging onto MERB using both wifi or cell data.

i have the same problem for abt a week, cant have access with Safari on my Iphone 4,; Safari ne peut ouvrir la page car la connection au serveur est impossible.
i have to use a different browser; Puffin in this case,

According to Fred, nothing has been changed in regards to the board software or the servers. If there is a problem it is likely caused by Telus and out of MERB control.

I am with Bell Mobility. I have also been experiencing the problem, which seems to come and go. I had the problem for a few days last week. The problem went away but came back. I couldn't get on yesterday and the day before that, but my access is fine today. Thus, even though it is OK now, this re-occurring pattern might indicate that the problem may not be completely resolved. Let's just wait and see.
