At the moment, number 2 seed, Fenway Park has a huge lead on number 18 seed, Busch Stadium.

Number 1 seed, PNC Park in Pittsburgh, is also running away in it's race with number 16 seed, Turner Field.

Number 22 seed, Yankee Stadium, was smoked in the voting yesterday by Number 11, Coors Field while Number 29, Rogers Center was torched by number 4, Camden Yards.

It looks like it's going to come down to a battle between the old, Fenway, and the new, PNC. A tough battle between two gorgeous venues. PNC with it's beautiful view of the bridge over the Allegheny will be tough to beat.

My vote, and my prediction to win it all is Pittsburgh's PNC Park. Fenway is a nice park, but to be honest, I've never really cared for the "Green Monster".

Great piece Rumples, good to see you bring some intelligence back to the sports threads:cool:.
I was amazed and really sad  to see the NY taxpayers billion $ baby get wiped out in round 1...such a shame for such a nice parking lot......yeah, right. At the other end of NY though there is a nice park, I did get to see a game at Citi Field (actually the Santana no-no) and I must say the Mets have a nice park too minus the damn planes overhead every 30 seconds...

Obviously there are mainly red sox fans voting just to still feel relevant during the 2012 season. fenway is a dump, has been so for the last 50 years and no matter what they put into it, will still be a dump. Blow it up and build a retro yet state of the art stadium like 97% of the rest of the league has done. The "Waste" as it is affectionately known, is the most uncomfortable place i have ever been to see a MLB game live, simply atrocious to the visiting fans but fitting I guess for the hometown homers. If red sox fans cant admit this then you truly are one heck of a delusional bunch, but i would not be surprised to say the least.

PS. Mr.T dead on as usual, but stop presenting FACTS to 4skin, he uses cybermetrics and they were right last season,.... oh wait, SNAP! guess they have some serious flaws afterall.

Looks like a major upset. With over 60,000 votes total, Miller Park is leading #1 seed PNC 52% to 48%. I've never been to PNC, but it's absolutely gorgeous. Miller Park I have been to and hated it. It felt like I was inside an airplane hanger. It's even worse than Park of the 1%, the place where the food seats sit empty night after night, The House that Ruth Didn't Build, a theme park not a baseball stadium.

In another close vote, AT&T is barely ahead of Wrigley. And in the other two Elite Eight, Fenway is rolling over Safeco, while Camden Yards is slaughtering Target. I'm looking forward to seeing Target Field from the inside one week from today.

Hey Rumples

I've been to both PNC and Miller Park, among others

To me, PNC is the best

Miller Park, without a doubt had the best tailgating I have ever seen, with the nicest fans imaginable

Not like here in NY

Best Regards

Quite possibly, but as a venue for watching a baseball game, it sucks.
