Finally, consumers in the US can now do their own HIV testings in the privacy of their own homes, for between $40 and $60 a pop. It's about time.

Not sure about Canada. But I imagine, Canada is more progressive in this regard and already have similar products in the drug stores for consumer to buy without a prescription.

Imagine Hobbyists from the States trying to explain to Canadian custom officials why they are traveling to Canada with HIV test kits. Hey, better safe than be sorry.

I guess Hobbyists have the option to test the SP's before engaging in fun and pleasure. It would spoil the mood but hey it's better to be safe than sorry for the rest of one's life, right?
