Downtown clubs on a Sunday night

Will be in town on a Sunday for 2 nights in late May. Besides possibly seeing SPs and hitting strip clubs, my buddy and I are interested in hitting a night club and/or an after hours club in the downtown area. Our hotel is about 3 blocks east of Crescent. We know about Thursday's, and were looking for other recommendations, like Club 1234, Electric Avenue, etc.

If this helps, we are both in our mid 30s and are both straight.
