>>> EDIT: Snoodle forgot to mention he was looking for something specific: GREY laces. There's also many lenght and size of laces... Thread reopened.

Snoodle, if you need grey ones, I suggest to look yellow pages under "cordonnerie"
http://www.yellowpages.ca/search/si/1/cordonnerie/montreal, QC?showDD=true

Or under "lacet"
http://www.yellowpages.ca/search/si/1/lacets/montreal, QC?showDD=true

Give them a call 1st, asking color, length and width. Large stores or cheapo place like Payless keep stuff that sells currently: black and white. Specialty shops have better chances to have what you need.

Thanks

Thanks Mod

I will continue the search tomorrow for the laces lol I'm looking for a medium gray.
So far the best selection was at payless but they didn't have grey :/

I did go to Arden to check and i spoke a bit with the girl that worked there.
She was real cute and friendly but i was too chicken to ask for her number ! lool

Look behind you.
Buy 2 pair and it works out to $10.50 a pair. Or the recent trend is to have your laces match your belt color.... That would work.

Sure its expensive, but the right shoe laces might get you a promotion.

Try the Collins safety shoes stores. Their site may be down. They hace stores on Notre Dame East in Montreal and one on the south shore. They have had grey safety shoes so perhaps shoe laces.

Yup! So many posts on this topic that so many people should have stop reading after the first post, since they had nothing interesting to contribute.

Mod 11, that was just humor, not even bordering any politically correctness issues. If we are not permitted a few moments of fun in a thread about ... laces. Come on! It may not be interesting in your opinion, but it was fun in mine.

Mod, I am wondering if you took this thread seriously or if cleaning the thread was taking the joke to the next level :)

Anyway, I can only recommand "Ian's Laces" application for iPhone and iPad. It changed my life. It's, like, the Kama-Sutra of shoe laces!!

Still can't find the laces. Ive been to a few coordonneries..I found grey laces but they were round.
I want flat grey laces.
I asked the coordonnerie if i can order some. He told me the minimum order is 36 pairs.

Ive tried a few shoe stores. Usually they have a box full of laces....that somehow didn't get sold with the shoes.
A few places had exactly what i was looking for but THEY ONLY had 1 lace !!! lol
so still no dice :s lolllll

You can buy the round ones and leave them under a brick until they're flat.
