hello all ....

I just noticed some small red dots on the tip ( head ) of my penis .. and also have a few small ones on the left side ... these appeared after aprox 30-40 mins after receiving from an sp .. they have stayed the same since yesterday ( no grow nor any new ones have appeared ) .. I noticed them around 5pm yesterday ... is it something to worry about? I really dont know what to think.. in anycase I will still call clinic l`actuel today to get checked .. just wanted to know your opinions .. by the way .. if I call today to that clinic will I get an appointment for today?

thanks in advance for anyhelp

incubation periods of 30 minutes are very rare!

L'Alternative

No matter incubation times, it's always a good thing to go get checked.

I don't think Clinique l'Actuel takes same day appointments, but I know l'Alternative does takes drop-in patients (I used to go to l'Actuel and usually took a month to get a spot). If your schedule is not too tight, I strongly suggest you go to L'alternative. The docs are great, the feel is much more personal.

The likelyhood of not having caught an STD with that particular girl should not stop you from still getting checked. All the guys here should really get informed about their health. Find out what you can do to reduce your chances of ever catching anything.

Throughtout many years in escort agencies and as an independent, I never caught a thing. I regularly had check-ups. I learned what to look out for and I know what symtoms to watch for. Being informed= being in health. Same applies to clients.

Ok, enough with the gal-advice ;)

Here's info on L'alternative:

Clinique de l'alternative Confidential HIV testing by appointment, medical treatment for people with HIV/AIDS, referrals. Also pregnancy tests (no follow-up), abortions and STD tests. Mon*Thu 9am*12pm, 1:30*5pm. Fri, 9am*12pm, 1:30-*4pm. 2034 St-Hubert, 281-9848

During those hours you may show up without an appointment.

I am not a doctor either, but it may be blood blisters if the sucking were too hard. In any event I would get checked.

This sounds like a case of mild allergic reaction..to either the latex or the ladies saliva..

Everytime I use a condom I get the same reaction..these very small little red dots on the head of of Mr. Happy :within 24 hrs after an encounter.... not too worry..they always seem to pass in a few days..

Its always good to get checked at the clinic or see a Doc every 3-6 months just to make sure everything is fine..

Thks Chloe for the info..we really miss you.. :(

didnt we have an appt. May 11th..tomorrow.(just joking) ;)

Hmmm....red dots.

Red dots on the tip of your penis? It sound like the early stages of Ebola. Do you have fever?

This diagnosis may be accurate if the SP was a monkey. :p

I would get it check out if I were you. Peace of mind is priceless. I doubt that if it is an STI that the girl who gave it to you is the one who had given you a BJ 30 min earlier. Though if it is an STI she should be informed in order to go get herself checked. If you are ever worried: better a safe than sorry!

hey ronnie chloe and others

basically, I had an encounter with an SP on april 29th. What is the usual window period for HIV. It was protected encounter, but I need to donate blood to a family member and don't want to put them at risk. Is it 3 months usually or can it be less?

Latex reaction

I tend to go with the latex sensitivity. If it was a ribbed condom, you could be seeing the imprint of the ribs together with the latex reaction. Just my thoughts.

the question that is relevant is not when you were last with an SP but the last time you were at risk due to unsafe activity (no condom) or accident (broken condom), reguardless of wether the girl was an SP or not. "Straight" girls can be infected also :( Give it 6 months from then just to be on the safe side.

i never had a broken condom or ripped one

but ronnie it isn't that simple especially when u are donating blood to a family member who never had sex outside her marriage. It's not fair to her to put her in any risk.

Also, gleamed from the stdresource.com, (thanks Regnad):

Window periods and limitations of STD testing
STD testing requires some time between when a person is infected and when the test can be expected to identify the infection. These are called window periods or incubation periods. They vary from a few days to 6 months. During incubation or window periods, an infected person can transmit the disease to someone else. The window period if you are doing a blood test tends to be longer than for other tests, as they are for the most part testing the person's immune response rather than for the "bug" itself. Remember with STD testing that you can still develop the infection after the tests are taken. A person could, therefore, have received recent negative test results yet still have an infection that could be transmitted to others. Also, while tests are mostly accurate they can be falsely negative and very occasionally, falsely positive.

Sincerely,
BS
