Gentlemen (and ladies),

what is your -

1. favorite style of beer?

2. favorite brand of beer?

MY favorite style right now is probably IPA and I would have to say Dreadnaught from Three Flyods is my go to. I'm also crazy about the Java Porter I had recently from Triton Brewery. Currently drinking a Two Brothers, French Style Country Ale.

Yes I drink and monger. Now drinking while mongering is a great thing.

I don't have only one... i apreciate every kind of beer from micro brewery... Currently i really like Death Valley(yes its the name) and some beer from "Dieu du Ciel" , i really like Péché Mortel wich is a café beer(9.5%) and i love Rigor Mortis but they don't always produce it. I like 3 Monts too... pretty much every beer at 8-9% from micro brewery are good usually. There also one i have trouble finding, only 1 store i know carry it, Dominus Vobiscum or something like that, weird name but damn its good. 5$ for a 500 ML tough... expensive.

I'm a pretty big beer drinker and enjoy Guinness the most. I couldn't drink it all the time though, so my beer of choice is Molson Dry otherwise. My time living in Calgary really got me into the Kokanee as well.

Started back in the day on Wildcat Dry. Also the first 40s here, Bull Max and Colt45. You guys remember that lol?

Well, I used to sneak swigs of my father's Labatt 50 as a 10 year old. I really enjoyed the taste back then, more so than now even.

lol young(14 to 18) i could drink anything... but these years... Labatt 50... ouch horrible taste... always pictured that beer as an old man beer... lol Like Laurentide... not sure if its still exist but god that tasted horrible.. even tough the logo was cool.

I remember as a kid my first beer at... yes i know it sound weird... 5 years old, was an o'keefe. Always wanted to taste it again but it stoped existing when i was in my teens...

These years i have trouble with commercial beers... i really hate Budweiser, i think of all the commercial beer it taste the baddest... i always say i will drink budweiser only if its given to me for free... a beer is a beer...lol. If im broke i usually buy either a labatt bleue 10% bottle of 1.18L... do the job, taste like crap tough... or those 2 cans for 5$ of 750 ML Black Label, not the best beer but not so bad, and always cheaper than the rest exept maye Pabts Blue Ribbons.

If they have Black Bull 10% or Colt 45 at 8.5%, its always an option... but in any case these cheap beers are only if i don't want to spend much... hardly bough those this year tough... but back a few years ago, a lot of them... but i ended up paying the balance on pills for the headache...lol

For commercial beers, i thin the best tasting are the Richards White and Molson Export... thats what i will usually order in a generic bar, but whatch out, don't order richards in a draft format... it loose all the good taste..

I really like the Miller in clear bottles. Some states it is good like Wisconsin, some not so great.
In Canada, Steam Whistle if it is fresh. Ah, who am I kidding I love it all!

I am more into white wine but my beer of choice is either beer-limonade or the beer 67 ...and yes it is partly because of the 67 calories loll

St. Ambroise Pale in the bottle. On tap go for Cream Ale, which is exactly the same beer, except it is gasified with nitrogen instead of carbon dioxide.

I now only drink light beers & last year had been drinking Stella Artois Light. Then i got tired of the taste & then started drinking Carlsberg Light. Once again, i got tired of the taste & started drinking Moosehead Light for a while, then gave Blue Light, Kokanee & Coors Light a try.

Last fall i began drinking Bud Lite. I've tried others since then, but i always seem to go back to Bud Lite.

However, for the past two weekends, my beer of choice has been Michelob Ultra, which surprisingly has been very kind to my taste buds. Tonight, i plan on drinking a few while i watch the season finales of some of my favorite tv shows.

As a lover of Dark Beers I enjoy Guiness Upper Canada Dark and many of the Miicro Breweries Dark Ales or Stout. Not a fan of light beers Except the white wheaty beers with flavour.

I love all the Boreale offerings. I wish they would import to the USA. St. Ambroise, Belle Gueule, McAuslan all make great beers, too. What gets overlooked a lot when focusing on Montreal's other great aspects is the fact that it's a fantastic beer city. You could spend a week there and go to a different brewpub every night.
Next trip at the end of May....and it can't get here soon enough!

Habitually I prefer beer over wine. I still believe in the cliche that drinking beer is more virile than drinking wine.

For a long period of time - late 70's early 80's - my favorite beer was the mythical Black Label.
Then, in 1982, I moved to Rio de Janeiro. My favorite beer was Brahma Chopp...nothing else.
When I came back to Québec, Black Label was no more available (it came back in the 1990's I guess): I switched to Molson Ex instead.
Now among my favorite beers I can name Pilsner Urquell.

I also like to drink Eisenbahn beers, especially die Eisenbahn Dunke which is brewed in the souther part of Brazil (in Blumenau)l
