    Hiv Risk

as well as syphilis, gonnorhea, chalymdia, etc with the hobby. Anyone know an accurate window period for hiv and hepatitis b and c as well as syphilis. Need to know.

    even with condom usage

hiv risk is not zero. Actually some people say it can be up to 30% with a hobby girl. And that they could up to 10% prevalence of HIV

It's my understanding that, with HIV, there can be a time window during which the test can still apear falsely negative. Most people say it's 3 months but a safer bet would be 6 months according to others. The use of latex condoms has been proven very effective in preventing STD transmission, including HIV. The risk is not zero however but it seems to be equal to or less than 1 per cent. I'll try to find once again my links on the subject.

Here's a suggesting, when in need of medical advice seek doctor. Get tested, it's anonymous and (almost) free. Get informed about your risks at the same time. Visit a clinic that won't look down at you: L'alternative. Look it up in the phone book... it's on St-Hubert.

Actually some people say that there is life on Mars, and that the Earth is flat.

robertpal, I don't know the source of these bullshit stats but I would really think before you post stuff like this. Your credibility here is waning badly.

Your chances of getting HIV from a girl you pick up at a bar and have BBBFS with in a drunken stupor is going to be a lot higher than anything else that you might do in this hobby.

Prostitutes use condoms. Do you? How many non-working girls consistently insist on condom use, at least for FS and Greek? Working girls are not primary in the spread of HIV. The following links should prove useful:

juzt_a_girl > Nice to see you back on the board...by the way, they have anonymous and free testing of HIV/AIDS in the CLSC on Guy/Concordia.

Just an FYI in case anyone is unaware, you can get easily immunized against Hepatitis A and B, one of which (I can't remember which) leads to one form of cancer. (There's no vaccination for Hepatitis C, though, unfortunately.)
