    1 ts baking soda
    1 c Almonds,Chopped
1. Beat eggs until lemon-colored. Beat in sugar and oil. Melt chocolate over hot water and stir into egg mixture along with vanilla and zucchini.

Yes the lounge would be better. Sometimes I make mistakes. The confusion occurs because english isn't my first language.

I am really wondering whether this is of any interest to anyone. Yes, we have a few sports related threads that really have nothing to do with the sex trade, but recipes now???

Questions-girl, please refrain from posting just for... posting. If you need visibility, do like everyone else and pay yourself a banner. We already sent you the "how to" information a while back.

Thank you

Because I anticipate e-mail messages about this. Mod and I have discussed this issue. It is private but it is enough to say there are no problems.

About why I posted this reciepe...

I like to bake and I do not believe that only Naughty and myself are the only women on here. It was my hope that we could exchange a few things we like. There are many male conversations but not any female ones. (And some men like to enjoy things are traditionally considered female.)

For me I would like to see all the sports messages deleted. I exercise alot but I hate professional sports.

I agree with Elvis. Let the recipe thread continue. BBQ season is here and I'm sure there are a lot of favorite rib, steak and burger recipies waiting to be unleashed. The three best things about summer...BBQ's, cold beer and hot Montreal ladies. Not necessarily in that order :D

Keep this thread!

I am looking forward to trying this recipie.

A trick for you BBQ enthousiasts:

Salad dressing makes a great marinade for all sorts of meat. Try Italian, Catalina, California or whatever is your favorite! (Those are some of mine.)

First and foremost, I'll tell you that I have significant culinary skills and I know my way around the kitchen. Like most single men, I learned early on that if I want good food I'll have to learn how to cook. As most of you know I am also the starter of the Montreal restaurant threads and this thread I think should be re-entitled "Recipe Thread."

My specialties are salsas, dips and spreads. My sundried tomato, artichoke and hot crabmeat dips are all award-winners. The thing is I don't use established recipes, I take them and embellish and modify them. This is what a good chef does. You need to be creative, you don't need to watch Emeril Lagasse to emulate the things he does. You can do the same stuff he does in your own kitchen if you have the time, effort and patience.

Techman, last night I went out to eat and I had some absolutely sensational Barbecued Baby Back Ribs. I want to say they were even better than the Ribs at Baton Rouge in Montreal. Really, really good!

I want to publically thank Mod 2 for giving me permission to continue with this topic. It is greatly appreciated!

Sharing recipes is something I truely enjoy. Finding a new culinary treasure is better than finding gold. And yes I know men are just as good in the kitchen as any woman. In many cases I think even better.

So I will now go to my books and find a good recipe for lamb. I plan to make it for dinner tomorrow night and I would love to place the formula here with everyone.

What is also good for a bar-b-que is cherry wood placed on the hot coals. Soak pieces of the wood in water over-night for best result.

I wish I could say the same, unfortunately all attempts to cook from my part result in fire alarms, charred food and wasted money. :(

And not for lack of trying, I swear even messed up trying to make jello from those powdered jello packets, I wound up with syrupy fruit juice instead

Puttanesca Sauce

The key ingredients are Pomi chopped tomatoes (imported from Italy, it comes in a sort of paper milk carton-like container), chopped olives, capers, onions, garlic, anchovy paste, olive oil, fresh basil and oregano, and crushed red pepper. I sautee the onions and garlic in the olive oil, then add the other ingredients. I like to put just a little sugar in the tomatoes as they cook. The amount of each ingredient you use varies depending upon your taste.

For those who have weak stomachs or have problems with spicy foods, you would need to have some Extra Strength Tums or Rolaids on hand after eating this sauce. For those who enjoy a spicy puttanesca sauce, I guarantee that you would almost have an orgasm eating this sauce! It's good stuff. However I have been on a diet (South Beach) and tomato sauces are forbidden as they are very high in carbs, as is pasta, so I haven't cooked this in a while.

Is this chocolate-zuchini thing Merb-code for Anal sex?

I mean, if you think about it, it kinda makes sense....
someone 'clean' this up for me?

;)

No silly. But I have had several people ask me this question. I never thought it could be interpreted as this.

OK....

Lamb and Tomato Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
3 pounds lean lamb shoulder, bone in, cut into serving pieces
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
    2 cups basic lamb stock
    1 cup dry red wine
    3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 yellow onions, peeled and coarsely chopped
    1 cup chopped parsley
    1/4 teaspoon allspice
    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon oregano
2 cups coarsely chopped ripe tomatoes
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • 1. Heat a large frying pan and add the olive oil.

    2. Brown the cut-up pieces of lamb, in 2 batches, on both sides.

    3. Season with the salt and pepper.

    4. Place the meat in a 6-quart casserole, along with the broth and wine, leaving the oil in the frying pan.

    5. Reheat the frying pan and saute the garlic and oinons until clear.

    6. Add the remaining ingredients, except the final salt and pepper, and saute just until the tomatoes cook down a bit.

    7. Add this mixture to the casserole, along with salt and pepper to taste.

    8. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook until the meat is very tender, about 1-1/2 hours
