So after my companion left I caught the last period of the hockey game. Tired and relaxed from my encounter I fell asleep and awakened to the late night movie playing on tv. Normally I would just turn it off and go to bed but the movie had Woody Harrelson and a young, tight bodied, and sultry looking Demi Moore! That was enough to keep me tuned in, I was not sure if I've seen this movie before but when Robert Redford made an appearence I know I had seen this movie many moons ago.

While watching the movie I started thinking. What would you do if a billionaire tycoon offered you a lifetime of security for one night with your wife or long time girlfriend? Of course your significant other cannot be an SP already and your relationship still has to be at it's peak.

This is such a tough decission....

I would let my wife decide. It's her life. I wouldn't mind going to swingers clubs so I'm not going to say no to a few millions. But I don't have a wife, so my opinion may not mean anything.

I had a wife, and there would be no amount of money he could offer for me to give her up for that one night.

What the fuck is wrong with you.

I would say "Honey, there is something that you can do for this relationship that will not only give us financial security but the entire family for a lifetime."

If she said no then I would spike her drink with E and and ask again.

LOL!
I know it may sound ridiculous to most people but it makes total sense to me.

Aww hungry, you are just sooo romantic! ;)

Obviously I'd do it, lol. And I would enjoy spending every dime with my significant other. But I'm well aware that as a SP, my opinion does not really represent the "average" person.

You guys! If johnybird feels that way, then that's the way he feels. Maybe there is a love out there that is greater than the love of money?

Around Montréal...
From my part, I would prefer that the love of my life would prefer NOT to encourage me in the exact situation of the movie.

The girl in the movie is not an escort, she never did it... and the idea is to pervert someone who is clearly not into that.
I will always refuse to do something I am not at ease with. Even for a million dollars.

Imagine something you would never do by yourself for yourself... and someone is proposing you, by example, if you are totally heterosexual, to have a homosexual encounter.. or to be the total slave of a bunch of people who will rape you for a million? Would you do it anyway? To each there limits.

You can believe it or not but it's the truth Panthère. I would give up every penny I have to have her back, things happen in life that puts things & priorities into perspective. If we had gone through something like that, we both would not be able to get over it and the relationship would have eventually ended and no amount of money would have fixed it.

She would have never gone through with it anyway. At one point early on in our marriage, when we were struggling, she was offered a very lucrative job that would have set us up financially, but there was a catch. She didn't take the job and she only told me about it years after, good thing that she did, because as gentle of a person as I am I would have paid him a visit and it wouldn't have ended well for either of us.

Now that being said if the Billionaire was a woman offering to sleep with my wife.... well that's another story. It would be up to her though

Tiannas, I can guarantee you that there is.

I question if there is a love out there greater than the love of monogamy. If you truly and completely love someone and there's 100% transparency, I don't see the conflict. Then again maybe that's why my marriage didn't last long, even by Vegas standards.

Regarding the love of money, I'd think for most people it's really about what that money could be used for, that is actually improving the lives of people close to you which could be drastic.

Everybody's relationship is different, I don't find anything wrong with taking the offer if you are both ok with it and can deal with it.
In my situation I know it would have had a really negative effect on the marriage and for us the risk would have outweighed the benefit.

I believe there is a very thin line between being monogamous or not, there are ups and down in a marriage, mine wasn't perfect and temptations and offers do pop-up but it's the decision to go through with it or not, the risk of losing that person if they ever found out, no matter how minimal the risk, is what makes the difference.

When you know you are fortunate enough to have something great, you hold on to it and never let it go especially through the darkest times.

I've really pissed off some straight friends by challenging them with this question of how much money would it take for them to do another guy... if the number gets too big the same conclusion is reached as if the number is too small due to the irrational fear (we're talking about many millions here and roofies are permitted!). I should probably disclose that my friends and I are all working class....

For how much???? I'll show that guy how to suck dick. I'm sorry I have worked too hard for too long and I have went to school for too many years. I know the value of money!

The Lack of Money is the root of all evil!!!!

For the right price I'll suck the chrome off a bumper!!!!! I mean maybe i wouldn't be able to go through with it but if he would put $1Million USD in my 401K I will give it a fucking try. maybe give myself E if I have to.

...if you are totally heterosexual, to have a homosexual encounter..

I am to the first part, never to the second part.

Neither would I sell-out my wife if married. I'm just not built to accept this kind of thing.

For the right price I'll suck the chrome off a bumper!!!!!

You're funny, but a bumper is not a penis. Same answer for me as above...just couldn't.

There's a lot of embarrassing things I don't do that I could do for money. Going against my nature isn't one of them.

Cheers,

Merlot

I'm with johnybird on this one: it's a "HELL NO" for me. There are some things worth more than money.
