The Teenage Years: What Kind of Crazy Shit Did You Do?

I've been thinking about this thing when I was fifteen. I met this girl named Heather who was this hot, hot blonde & I wanted to nail her so bad. It never happened, but what DID happen was that I showed up at home hours later than I was supposed to & my father literally put my head through a wall. He grabbed me by the collar and dragged me off toward my bedroom, but made a special stop in the hallway to smash my head into the wall. The hole in the drywall was there for two weeks before he got around to fixing it. Of course, since I was drunk and stoned, I didn't feel a thing. That's just one example & I'm only writing it because it's been on my mind. The question is, what crazy shit happened to you, or what crazy shit did you do, when you were a teenager? We've all got these stories...

Not all...I spent my teenage years reading and drawing: my idea of a great Friday evening was a pile of books from the library to read late, the bigger the better loll, now the expression takes a different meaning but then...
It is only in my twenties that suddenly I got orange hair ,then blue and name any color in between lol ,for the drinking part I was way older ,I was a prude younger...

I was very bookish, too, when I was a teenager. I think we would have gotten along. My craziness was usually done at the behest of one of my siblings. I had 3 brothers, two older, one younger, and it was the oldest and youngest who were the crazy ones. My oldest brother went off to college & came back on a break and decided it would be funny to see what I was like after I smoked pot. I was 14! This idiot thinks it was a good idea to introduce me to pot! I was never really a pot-head, though. Tried it on a few occasions, had a few laughs, left it behind... My oldest brother was a bit malicious. My younger brother was a trickster. He had a good sense of humor and no matter what crazy shit he pulled, he always got away with it. THAT type of person! He's the same even now.

I think I must have been the only art student at cegep du Vieux-Montreal that never smoked pot ,at the time it was still allowed to smoke in the school, the student café was so full of pot fumes that you didn't have to smoke to be high lol

I used to skateboard off of roof tops unto other roofs until I finally fell and broke my right arm. Dunno why I kept doing it considering how dangerous it was (3 story buildings). I'm right handed but my right arm is naturally weaker now for fear of breaking it again.

I knew a guy that stole a bowling ball from Laurentien Lanes and then took it to the Decarie expressway and when a car went down the ramp he would try to hit it with the ball.

Hello all,

My crazy stuff was about driving like a nut during the day at times and drinking a series of mixed drinks on weekends. Nothing weird, just being young and reckless in a small way.

Not all...I spent my teenage years reading and drawing: my idea of a great Friday evening was a pile of books from the library to read late, the bigger the better loll, now the expression takes a different meaning but then...

Art was my thing, often going back to the university for late night sessions in a large group then getting deep into photography.

I think I must have been the only art student at cegep du Vieux-Montreal that never smoked pot ,at the time it was still allowed to smoke in the school, the student café was so full of pot fumes that you didn't have to smoke to be high lol

I would drink, detested drugs though I tried pot briefly and hated it. Still do. Now I read a lot of detailed histories of all kinds. I'm currently reading a 1000 page plus book on late 18th century France. Not that length counts for anything. I checked a lot or book reviews to be sure I wasn't wasting my time and this one came up highly rated for it's unbiased and thoughtfully investigative style.

Geeeez sweetie, you kill me. Artsy inquisitive with just enough offbeat style. YOU KILL ME! :D :thumb:

Cheers,

Merlot

Oh, God, here's another one. God, we really did stupid things when we were younger. Anyway, I was at this party once and these two guys announced that they were going to have a slap fight. Now, these were both really nice guys with a good sense of humor, so when they announced this, everyone at the party reacted like, "Uh...okay, why not?" So, we went out into the front yard. The idea was that one guy would slap the other in the face & then they'd go back and forth until one of them gave up. Well, it pretty soon became a real fight and we had to drag them apart and calm them down. The funny thing is that, all these decades later, when talking to someone who was at that party, a sure way to get them to laugh is to say, "Remember when George and Chuckie had that slap fight?" I'm laughing even as I write this.

EDIT: I'll tell you one other thing about Chuckie and hope none of these guys are reading these posts. I have a cousin who's nickname is "Choo Choo" for reasons I won't get into. A few years back, after not having seen my cousin in years, Chuckie got off the commuter train and saw my cousin through the window. So, as it starts to take off, there's Chuckie running after the train yelling, "Choo choo! Choo choo! Choo choo!" until he realized what an idiot he probably looked like. God, I wish I had been there to see that!

Fucker should be hung. I would like to be the guy that puts the rope around the stupid asses neck.

I got away with murder in my teens! Big family of 8 (never all living together) so I was super sneaky and for the most part never got caught. It helped that I was doing well in school and have a seemingly innocent look. Lol.
but I wasn't so bad mostly sneaking in my boyfriends through my bedroom windows and sneaking out to drink on the beach with friends.
I do recall my dads unusual punishment when he did catch me. He once made me paint the entire basement when he found out I was hungover. The smell of the paint was so bad that I still can't drink vodka! Another time he made me chop wood all day. I was literally sitting on my knees with an ax wishing for death!

You know those labels on the side of your mattress that say "Do not remove under penalty of law?" Well one night I tore one of those labels off and flushed it down the toilet. I was a real rebel.

When I was a teenager, I studied elementary particle physics and quantum field theory as a hobby (before I discovered my real hobby). I was a genius but not popular with the girls.

the most stupid was probably egging a mobsters house. They caught us and taught us a lesson. Also my reaction to having a gun pulled on me...a few different times. Lucky to have lived...dared them to do it.

Here's one more. My oldest brother did this one. He was out drinking with his friends when he was 18 or so and he was driving my father's shitbox Datsun that he used to commute into the city back in the mid-80's. Of course, they were drinking in the woods, because that's what kids from the suburbs do. He got lost as he was driving out, and came up to the edge of this cliff. He could see a familiar road down there at the bottom, so he decided just to put the car in a low gear and head on down. I've driven past this location many times since he pulled that one and still can't believe that he did it. It has to be about an 80-degree angle that he drove down, and a complete rock face, maybe 100 feet high. On top of that, he didn't even dent the car -- my father never knew about it.
