Mtl!
I just finished reading this article and it really fucked me up. Especially the shit he had in his fucking car!!

http://www.dailydot.com/lifestyle/serial-killer-attack-killed-virginia/

And while stories like these happen in the States more often than they do in Canada, some girls travel etc and it just goes to show you've always got to been on top of your shit.
Don't get slack and give people passes, because that is always the moment when shit goes wrong.

To the men in this hobby, it's reasons like these why girls ask for references, details about you, money up front etc. More often than not, it isn't because she's trying to scam you, it's because she wants to make sure she leaves with her life.
Please keep this in mind when a girl asks for references.

Be safe, be smart but don't forget to have fun!

Have a good weekend everyone!

I know what you mean. Some guy in NY was scammed by a woman pretending to be an escort in May and was beaten to death in his hotel room. I think it turned out that he was a pimp and it was known that he was carrying around thousands of dollars in his pocket. It happened in a Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan, though, not some shitty motel. It can get scary, but if you are careful and keep your eyes open, you should be okay. And for crying out loud, carry pepper spray or a knife or something and don't be afraid to use it when you need to.

I want to tell you something else. I've never posted this before, though I have mentioned it in a couple of PM's to people: I know an escort who was murdered 20+ years ago. She was a childhood friend. Nobody ever found out who did it. Nobody even knows if it was a client of hers, or something to do with her drug habit. I'm not against escorting, obviously, but be careful.

It's usually recommended not to carry a knife or pepper spray or any other weapon that can be used against you in any way, since it just takes them overpowering you for your knife to end up in you instead.
Take self-defense classes if possible, try to screen as carefully as you can, ALWAYS trust your intuition, and I usually try to always make sure I have a safe space I could run to and lock myself in if need be, such as a bedroom or bathroom.

Terrifying story, and one can only hope the police are wrong in their assumptions that he's killed before.
Definitely a reality check about why we need to be so strict sometimes about meeting new people.

Stay safe!

Several years ago an sp who would travel to the States to work told me about a nightmare ride she had with a US-based john who had offered to drive her from Mtl to Boston (or it could have been either NJ or NY, i forgot). She told me a couple years later that she had never been so scared in her life halfway into the 'drive' and actually feared for her life. The guy turned out to be some violent psychopath.

Another time, she was in NYC working and was reading one of the NY tabloids one day. She started to read about an article dealing with a notorious serial killer (of women) that had just been caught in the area and was shocked when she saw his photo: he had once been a client of hers! She considered herself lucky that she didn't turn out to be one of his victims, since prostitutes were among some of his many victims. If my memory is correct, that was the day the lady in question decided to quit being an sp. She figured her luck wasn't going to go on forever.

I think someone needs to mention how fucking bad ass and how much of a hero this lady is.
I heard she is still in the hospital.
She may need care, money, I want to look into possibly helping!

I would give money to help. She won't be able to work for a while I guess. If you find out a way to reach her, are you going to let us know?
I wonder if Kickstarter or other things like it could be used for it... :)

Okay, I can see your point on the knife, but not really the pepper spray. A man is almost always going to be bigger and stronger than you. The idea is to distract him long enough for you to run away. Honestly, this might be as simple as poking him in the eye with your fingernail and no need to fumble around for pepper spray. You can take self-defense classes, but some of the things they teach you aren't infallible, either. If it comes down to it, don't be afraid to run down the hallway naked, knocking on doors as you go.

I'm going to tell you two stories: first, when I was a teenager, I was playing street hockey and I got hit square in the nuts with the ball. It hurt like absolute hell, but I was too embarrassed to react because there were so many people watching, so I just kept on playing with the pain. I think of this every time I see a woman's self-defense video, because as some point you're always taught to knee a guy in the nuts. I will tell you from personal experience that even though it hurts like hell, it won't always stop someone. A man can be in terrible pain and still focus on what he wants...

The second story is from when I was about 13 or 14. I delivered papers and one house had this really mean German Shepard behind a gate, so I would just drop the paper on the step outside the gate. Well, the people complained, of course, that they wanted their paper put into their mailbox beside their front door. After that, when I came to the house, I would shake the gate, make noise, and whatever, to see if the dog would come running into the front yard before I delivered their paper, if he was in the yard. I then had to think of what I would do if I entered their property and walked up to their mailbox and that damned dog came running around the side of the house at me. I figured I would run in the opposite direction and leap over the chain-link fence on the left side of the house. Surely enough, one day that damned dog came running around the side of the house at me just as I was putting the paper in their mailbox and I went with my plan without thinking. If I hadn't planned something in advance, I would probably have panicked and run back for the gate, at which point it would have gotten me and done god knows what. I'm just saying that you've got to plan for contingencies. Nothing bad will likely ever happen, but be smart and have a plan just in case.
