Tsitsipas should have been defaulted just as Djoker was at the US Open in 2020. You cannot hit the tennis ball at people.

Djoker will not likely play another major until the French Open next year. He is not getting vaccinated in order to play the US Open, is unlikely to get an exemption and has no Visa to get into Australia. That means if Nadal heals up his torn ab muscle, he can possibly win one of the US Open or Australian Open and put 2 major distance between himself and this Djoker.

Djoker is also going to fall from #3 to #7 in the rankings next week as there are no points for winning Wimbledon:

Quite predictable result in today's Wimbledon finals!
Djoker let Krygios burn himself out and then destroyed him! That's what happens to one dimensional players that serve 1000mph.
No tennis pro in the modern era has the stamina and the training regimen of Djoker! This is in sharp contrast "to made in the lab" doped up Nadal who is garbage on grass despite having managed to fluke-out 2 Wimbledons!

As EB mentioned...even if he won WIMBLEDON...DJOKO this morning is #7 .....MEDVEDEV--ZVEREV--NADAL--TSITSI--RUUD are the top 5....FÉLIX is # 9....we all know DJOKO is not a #7..BUT that's the way it works....ZVEREV---wuth a serious injury--will lose ground.

As always plus de fluidité chez les femmes....SWIATEK is a solid #1.....suivie par....KONTAVEIT---SAKKARI--BADOSA--JABEUR.

Medvedev is the only player outside of Djoker and Nadal who I look at as being a threat to win majors. The other players of this current generation are not good enough even to be competitive with these aging legends. I was actually holding out some hope that Kyrgios might beat Djoker but he just isn't that good. I really think that the primary reason Federer, Nadal and Djoker have piled on 20 plus majors is that they didn't have a lot of competition outside of each other. The other players of this generation are imperfect prima Donna wannabes. Only Medvedev, who has gradually improved and finally took down Djoker in straight sets at the 2021 US Open, is a viable and real threat to do it again.

Medvedev was banned from Wimbledon for being Russian which is unfortunate for him and fortunate for Djoker, who lost in straight sets last time he played Medvedev in a major final. Had he not been banned, Medvedev might have won Wimbledon. It's not fair to Medvedev or Nadal, who is now only 1 up on Djoker, but then again life is not fair sometimes.

PRAGUE....was great to see Marie Bouzkova winning her first title in her hometown--Prague......not a major tournament/250...but a CHAMP is a CHAMP... ...pretty/sweet/nice girl.

VARSOVIE...Bravo to GARCIA again...son 9ème titre....on fire récemment....toujours le fun à regarder...autre sweet girl.

And later today...CROATIA/OPEN....ALCARAZ--SINNER.....la relève à l'oeuvre....should b interesting.

SINNER...wow....spectacular win vs ALCAZAR.....never seen him played such a level of high quality/tennis.....BRAVO....first title this year....bonne préparation for the big tournaments coming next weeks....incluging Montréal.

COUPE ROGERS---MONTRÉAL....NADAL se retire.....dommage MAIS pas vraiment une surprise....DJOKO absent aussi....dans son cas on le savait ......anyway on devrait avoir un très bon tournoi avec tout le talent qui a germé ces dernières années...enjoy.

LOS CABOS....toujours difficile pour FÉLIX de crémer le gâteau....lol.....défaite en demi-finale.....avait préféré ce tournoi à celui de Washington....mais toujours bon second .....quand même bcp mieux que SHAPO qui s'égare de plus en plus....

Same for KYRGIOS for winning WASHINGTON.....a gardé sa constance finalement...a été sérieux et joué dans des conditions difficiles....BRAVO.

Both will play in MONTRÉAL next week .....faudra s'habituer à ces nouvelles têtes d'affiche.....oui 2 joueurs au caractère un peu spécial...lol....MAIS combien talentueux et le fun à voir évoluer.
