These days 61 is quiet...no Harleys...rarely a bouncer at the door....I think they only charge a cover after 19h00 and even then it isn't always enforced.

There are certainly much nicer parts of Toronto, but to describe the neighbourhood around Filmore's as the worst ghetto area you've been to in your life is rather harsh. Part of St. Louis, Washington, Detroit, etc, make this area look like paradise.
