There is a triangular shaped icon (bottom left of every post). Use that to report a problematic post, or a problem to all the MERB Mods.

Just a reminder:

Harassment of another member using the PM function is strictly forbidden. If you cannot post it on the board because it will break MERB rules regarding respectful posting, do not send it by PM either. MERB rules regarding respect apply to PM communications also. If a complaint is received, it will be acted on and it will result in a suspension. Repeat behavior may lead to a permanent suspension from MERB.

If you receive a pm that is a spam, harassment, offensive in any nature or someone spreading personal information about anyone please report it to moderation. Thank you.

Everybody,

Although it is hoped that the members of the Forum help each other by posting, among other things, reviews and by providing information, there is nothing in the Forum Rules which obliges them to do so.

You are kindly requested to stop commenting on the few reviews that certain members have in their personal history, when they ask questions.

Not only are these comments irrelevant to the purpose of the discussion, they do not lead the members targeted by such comments to contribute more. On the contrary, the discussions which ensue are most often characterized by a lack of respect and civility.

Those who are annoyed by the lack of participation of some members are asked to put them on their Ignore Lists, or at the very least not to comment about their participation when they post questions.

Thanks for your collaboration.

As it apparently now needs to be spelled out:

Sending unsolicited dick picks to a provider via the private messaging system is a form of harassment and, if reported, the culprit will be suspended.

A note on the end of year polls/discussions:

This end of year tradition on MERB has led over the years to the crowning of a SP of the Year, Agency of the Year, etc.. It has typically been used by the winners as a promotional tool far beyond this Forum.

After discussion with Fred Zed, it has been decided that from now on and effective immediately the only agencies, providers, etc., eligible for discussions or polls on MERB that lead to the nomination of a MERB Agency of the Year, or MERB SP of the Year, or MERB Independent Provider, etc., will need to be a MERB advertiser in good standing, or work for one (e.g., an agency or a massage parlour). That is, by December 1st and they will need to have supported MERB for a significant portion of the year.

If somebody wants to start such a discussion or poll, it will have to meet the guideline stated above, otherwise it will be shut down.

Thanks for your collaboration.

A note on images generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI), and for future reference:

Images created by AI which attempt to recreate what the face of a provider may look like, is a breach of Rule #1:
  1. No posting of personal information. This includes real names, addresses and personal social media accounts, pictures etc.

Posting facial pictures of a provider without their consent is a breach of Rule #1, and therefore posting AI-generated images with the aim of getting around the absence of such pictures, constitutes a similar breach of privacy.

Thanks for your collaboration.
