The writers of American Pie, Paul and Adam, booked the Ritz-Carlton in the early 2000s. They would completely deny it now, and it’s certainly the kind of party they couldn’t pull off in Tinseltown.
For one night, they hired all the women from the agency—about ten in total. The agency, which was run by an older blonde woman, later disappeared. Two of the girls left early. There was plenty of Coca-Cola in the room.
The event brought in enough cash for the agency that they threw a separate party for themselves afterward.
