I been thinking about it since last GT. When was the very last one before? The last one i recall was at the end of the 2010s... Was it 2017/2018/2019? I don't recall exactly.
It was at a place call "Usine something" organized by Unicorns and i think once again in coop with Mike's Mansion (after the mega succes of the house party) so obviously before the fusion of Mike's with Euphoria.
It was a good time. Nice foods available, Sonia Von Sacher was there as a Unicorn escort (before she got famous lol) so was Hannah (Sasha Johansen) and like nothing was wrong. But the room was huge and not a ton of guys showed up (entry fee was 75$ if i recall) so it was ultimetely a bit low key. The floor felt a bit empty. Don't quote me on it but i think this was the first (and last until this year) GT where Iggy was not involved.
The point where im going is in 2020 there was the covid stuff and ...wow even this is almost 5 years and a half.
So if i go way back and remember the GT era ... It was mostly the mid 2010s.
Thats like 10 years ago.
For me ...bah i was in my early 30s. Like sure i may feel a little wiser and my head gone more and more toward "Hulk Hogan hairline since" lol but beside that ...im kinda the same dude.
But ...i think of the older dudes i met back then. Guys who already looked in their advanced 70s or 80s...
These dudes now may be dead ...or not able to meet anymore.
I remember 2 guys in particular ... Cloudsurf ... I dunno how old he was but ill say at least 75... Have not seen news in years...
Other one i don't recall his name but i remember him vividly... He was kinda bald (hulk hogan bald style) and always had what looked like a "poncho" ... Kinda like in the old Clint Eastwood movies. He was always nice. Always saluted me every GTs (he was often there in them). He always left early tough. So i figure he was at least in his 70s.
All of this to say its just crazy thinking of all of this. Yeah sure im a nostalgic person in the first place but still. Time fly way too fast.
I wish we had more than 1 life... Lol
