I actually tried, seriously, as much for AC as anything else, because I can do all-nighters! horrible time trying to sleep when it's this hot. None of my circle are available until Monday, so alternatives may need to be explored. I sure wish they did soapies here! lol.

Oh and on the same day another Range rover driver gave me another rant: 2 lines road, 40km/h limit residential area, he was on the right lane, I was on the left lane rather far in the front slowing down at a stop sign. He speeded at I think 80-90km/h because the right lane after the stop sign had parked vehicles. He just didn't just speeded but also passed the stop signs at that speed (and obviously not stopping) just to cut in front of me.
Total dick move.
I recently saw a BMW driver stopped in a no stopping zone (not in his car), in a bike lane, getting a ticket. The traffic sign I was saying in a different post was the most ignored on the road. There's no doubt that douchebags and all varieties of narcissists are over-represented among luxury car drivers.
I left out the part that says that highly agreeable and conscientious people are also more likely to buy the same luxury cars, for different reasons. We just notice them less on the roads...I might be a narcissist and self-centered ...

I just got screwed over by a porn star who asked for a deposit. I provided it and then she tried changing the date with me since another opportunity came her way. She asked to reschedule for another time and then ghosted me and blocked me on her twitter. Be careful with deposits..once you give them..always remember...it might not be returned
First off, I support the idea that drivers should contribute an amount toward infrastructure and public transportation costs. Having said that, I only support it to a point, and the fact that my most recent registration renewal has me paying 30% more in public transit fees than my actual vehicle registration cost pisses me off. Fuck CAQ for refusing to properly fund public transit through direct processes and fuck the idea that gouging the drivers who don't use public transport is the only practical way to to make up budget shortfalls. Is it removing the incentive for drivers to use public transit? Not in any meaningful numbers, no. It's just penalizing them without even attempting to flatten the payment vehicle to be more inclusive of all people, especially including those who use public transit. I'm sick and tired of Quebec cash grabs because we apparently are unable to adequately budget with any financial discipline whatsoever, despite being the highest taxed area in North America.
Personally, I have no issues with deposits as I have seen 2 providers in Halifax whom I have done this already. My issue is when you are to get back your money. I paid a hefty deposit for a dmty for a reputable Montreal provider since I live light years away from SPs. However, she ended up cancelling due to challenges on her end in getting bookings in my area. (I literally told her my area is a SP desert hence the dmty) She did not even volunteer to resend the money, I had to ask when she would send back the funds. She told me that her place had been recently damaged and so she would send me the money at the end of the next month. Like huh???? While I sympathize with her dilemma, in no way, shape or form is my money, for unrendered services, to be used to offset her financial demands. Clients are always pressed about the importance of deposits but when you are to get back your money, you to behave like an ass to get it back. This is literally the reason I stopped lending money in my personal life because why am I pressuring someone for my money??? Crazy
