What books is everyone reading these days? What are your ratings?

I'm in the middle of this book called Darryl by Jackie Ess, a strange and funny diaristic / stream-of-consciousness novel narrated by a man deep into the cuckholding lifestyle. (CW: mentions of drug dependency and suicidal ideation).

Cover: 9/10
Text: so far 8/10
Repeat?: tbd

If audiobooks count then I'm currently listening to the latest installment of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series, which is easy litrpg escapism but which also is an exceptional parody of the media and an examination of humanity and situational ethics. The audio interpretation by Jeff Hayes is so good that most people recommend that you listen to the book rather than read it. The first book really just sets the scene and it takes off from there. Really fun stuff.

Finished this last month (maybe May?). Phenomenal. Took 3-4 months to read the first 3rd, confused why people liked it so much then it turned a corner quickly and I read the last 2/3rds in a day.

Huckleberry Finn as told from the POV of the slave Jim. Very good so far.

Physical books are great but digital books you can put thousands of them on your phone or device.

myanonamouse.net is the best source for books I've found online so far, all free, huge library, covering all genres and in multiple formats. Not much you can't find there, old or new. I've downloaded hundreds of books from there. Have a look.
