Im not a resident and have less than a handful of MTL visits. But, I like Mignon in Old Montreal.

All this being said, Baton Rouge is my go-to.
But it's nice to have alternatives, The Keg is worth a look when they have a special going on via DoorDash.
Also depends on what cut you want specifically. Example, if a rib steak is what you desire, you might want to give Lucille's a look-see.

I don’t know if they still have the rib steak on their menu but when it comes to Schwartz, everybody is thinking about smoked meat sandwiches. But back in the day, they could cook a serious steak that was at par with Moishes. Jewish spots know their shit when it comes to steak. Steak-patates-pickle.
