Some SP hire assistants to deal with the bureaucratic aspect of work. I can see how someone who's really popular could get overwhelmed with requests and neglect certain aspects but hiring an assistant would help them. Dealing with inquiries and posting on social media takes up a lot of my time...

I will have to agree here, the provider should refund the deposit if she has to cancel. It's not professional to keep it, and it makes clients afraid of sending deposits to providers...

I'm so sorry you experienced this. I've never had this happen with an outcall, interestingly, but I've had multiple no call no shows and cancellations and had to change my entire schedule to book these gentlemen, so I know how you feel. Waiting in the lobby for an hour sounds really horrible. :(...
