What's with the high rates in Sept/Oct? Last week I was looking at Priceline's median rates for Sept/Oct. When I look today, the median rates are about $80 higher across the board! What times of year are most expensive to lodge in Montreal and what times are least expensive?

The next few weeks the cheapest avg rate for a room at Delta Montreal is $196 CDN or about $174 US. That is the rate booking directly through Delta. I can't see how it would by possible at all to go from $174 to $65 by using Priceline. I booked a room at Delta 2 months ago for this month...

How about the garage option? I'm happy to park in garages if I bring a car into the city and drive somwhere rather than walk take the metro. Is there a place to find out where some convenient downtown garages are located?
