Some SP hire assistants to deal with the bureaucratic aspect of work. I can see how someone who's really popular could get overwhelmed with requests and neglect certain aspects but hiring an assistant would help them. Dealing with inquiries and posting on social media takes up a lot of my time...

I will have to agree here, the provider should refund the deposit if she has to cancel. It's not professional to keep it, and it makes clients afraid of sending deposits to providers...

I've never had this happen with an outcall, interestingly, but I've had multiple no call no shows and cancellations and had to change my entire schedule to book these gentlemen, so I know how you feel. Waiting in the lobby for an hour sounds really horrible. :(...

I don't know much about cosplay but I know that some cosplayers end up making historical costumes that are impressively well made so it makes sense they would be hired by film studios nowadays. I'm more of a history and fashion nerd than an anime and manga nerd although I do like some of it :)

I haven't been to a museum or an art show in a really long time. I'm due.. I also want to start going to the movies and going to shows more often. It's easy to overwork yourself and forget about stimulating your imagination and curiosity

I'm grateful that I have enough work right now to be able to avoid social media and forums this summer! I've been fairly busy since June, but I thought people would forget about me if I didn't constantly post.. Protecting your energy is one of the most important things to do in this industry
