This is why I don't understand why "he's not a career politician" is a valid argument. Obviously business people come to politics to make money. It's what they do, no matter the party. Bizarre that it's considered an asset. Business is not an altruistic pursuit, while politics is supposed to be.

CBC is not the equivalent of CNN - both lean left, but CBC still manages to keep a decent balance at most times - they will write articles and do stories that are quite positive about the Conservatives, and quite negative towards the Liberals. The Power and Politics show is excellent. CNN...

There's been a pretty legitimate rumor going around that they based their tariffs on the trade deficits not the tariff rates - except for the 10% base number. So even Australia, with whom there are no tariffs... and they actually have a trade deficite WITH the USA... they ge teh 10% slapped on...
