My early impression of Elitexc before it even starts a match is "cheesy" I am already WEC & UFC biased though. Lots of MMA shows on this weekend on VS and other channels. Would be nice if more UFC matches were available to regular TV. UFC 85 happens in London the day I land there...

Speaking of Japanese who seem to pay the highest price for everything... Heard a funny "rule" for them in Thailand. It is the 2-3-4 rule. 2 inches, 3 minutes, 4,000 baht ($120 which is a huge rip off). I have read that many find it true. I am just relaying the message, not making this up.

I still read the board(obviously), but gave up Montreal after about 30 trips back in May 2006. No desire to return at this point. It is fun, but there are better places out there for the money. Been to Thailand twice this year and booking my next trip today that I will take in a few months...
