Age Difference Between couples

Hi guys , im curious should there be a maximum age difference between couple. im asking because a friend of mine in his late 40's is dating a girl in her mid twenties.What do you guys think.

When I was 35 I dated a guy who was 23. It was fun and the sex was great, but ultimately we had very little in common and it didn't last.
I think the maturity levels of both play a huge part, as well as common interests. Once the initial excitement fades, there has to be something there to hold your interest.

I think it depends the age they both are.

A 15 year difference between a couple that is 25 & 40 is much different then one at the ages of 40 & 55 for example.

I dated a woman who was 7 years older when I was 21, when we were alone or with family there was no difference but when we went out with friends, especially mine because they were younger, the gap was more apparent because of the maturity level.

Once I got into my 30's and as we both got older, friends matured, it really didn't make a difference and the 7 year age gap was a lot less apparent. People actually used to think I was older than her. Not that I looked older then my age ,but because she looked younger than hers... just want to make that clear :smile:

Well I concur.

I was told however by a few rich people that money is worth youth.

In my late twenties I was courted by a 50 years old the strangest thing for me, she had daughters of my age and older.

which reminds me when I was 25, I had a gf who was 38, the sex was good, she had a daughter who was 20 and her mother wanted me to marry her daughter so we would all live together and I would service both. but I was not interested in her daughter I had great sex with the mom.

What an amazing story Dreamer! In the last 10 years have been seriously involved with 2 women who were both 20 years younger than I. They were amazing relationships. I am young for my age and seem to need a younger woman to fall in love. It is simply how my life has unfolded....I did not seek out a younger woman. When I was younger I dated a woman 10 years older than myself. That was fine too. If the couple is compatible and give each other what they need I don't think the number is an issue.

My ex was 29 when I met her and I was 49, our relationship was amazing for the 6 years we were together. We remain good friends but in the end I think she was looking for a guy more her age who was into the things someone her age would be into. I cherish those memories and will forever

My ex was 8 years younger and all was good for 20 years. I like Lily's formula... 1/2 the age + 10 years.

And if you look at the number the older the guy the younger the lady...
Let's say a 20 years old guy :ideal girl is a 20 years old girl (20 divide by 2 ,plus 10=20)
but a 50 years guy, ideal girl is 35 (50 divided by 2 so 25 +10=35),
neat,the older you get the prettier the lady lol
