I acknowledge and understand retouching/editing out tatoos or bluring blemishes to protect the indentiy of a person but, I have now come across a few, on LL, latetly, where they use AI retouch portrait filters on their add pictures. In the past, some were tweeking their breats, hips or ass. Some were easy to spots but now, with these filters, the checklist of attributes indicating "FAKE" is getting smaller at the same time some are getting way to obvious.

I'm wondering:
  1. How far service providers (SP, agencies, photographers) will use this tech?;
  2. Will it change in our perceptions, expectation of the providers?;
I haven't yet been in a situation where the reality was so far off the expectation that i turned away. But I'm sure there's few stories where some of us contacted a provider expecting a Betty or Veronica but faced a Miss Piggy or Miss Grundy.

What do you do when you suspect the photos to be enhanced?

AI-assisted photo filters have certainly brought some interesting changes to the world of online profiles and advertisements. It's no surprise that people are using these tools to enhance their images.
Your questions about how far service providers will utilize this technology and whether it will impact our perceptions and expectations are thought-provoking. As AI continues to evolve, it might indeed reshape the way we view online profiles.
For those interested in exploring more about AI and its influence on various aspects of life, www.sicha.ai can be a valuable resource.
When it comes to suspecting enhanced photos, it's essential to keep an open mind and have realistic expectations.

Maybe not AI assisted, but I have wondered why the pictures online from the agencies remove the tattoo's. I think more people find tattoo's attractive and artistic than the ones who may not like it. And it also feels like the person is expressing who they are with their tattoo's, so seems like it will be a more accurate representation.

I think the blurring of tattoos is usually more of a case of her not being spotted by neighbors, friends, relatives, etc. and she wants to keep her professional life private from her personal. Nothing to do with whether people like the artwork or not.

The reason is pretty obvious, tattoos are very distinctive and would be a good way to identify an individual. I don’t know many SWs that are willing to be out in the open for everyone, most want to stay anonymous.

Can't say I use or even like filters. I find them unnecessary. I prefer an element of surprise that in person look better than my photo, then the disappointment that the photo was enhanced and that I am a letdown in comparison to it. I don't think my ego could take the hit from the latter.

It is always on my mind that if photos are enhanced, there is a likelihood of being called out for false advertiseing. We show up on their doorstep. A guy will notice if you don't look like your photo.

I see other family members always useing filters on their photos in social media profiles, and when i see them in person it is such a shock to see the difference.
