Are Escorts allowed on Blue Sky?

I am personally really fed up with Twitter lately. It has become a cesspool of hate, misinformation, foreign propaganda and litterally terrorism glorification. Even tough i try to block the peoples, they still appear in my feed. So i signed on Blue Sky and was wondering if Escorts are allowed to be there... I don't think i ever saw the app mentioned in anyone ads. I found Metallica and was surprised to see they only have 14.5k subscriber. It look legit, but that seem incredibly low for such a huge band. I know the app is still new but i would had expected more.

Otherwise the app is litterally a clone of Twitter, but hopefully without Musk print... Trying to follow subjects/peoples that interest me so this got me curious.

Your x profile is probably already categorized from your previous patterns. So regardless if you block or whatever, if you've ever engaged with any "categorized" account ... its in your algorithm.You can create additional profiles.... same with bluesky.

I'm seeing more escorts joining bluesky, but its gonna take a while. Until their social pods start to switch over, I don't see much motivation for them. Its hard for most high volume account to leave X. So unless it spells our $ for them, I don't really see the incentive yet.

I would at least suggest at least creating their accounts in order to lock in their name brands... lots of great names available.

From my experience most of my contacts have at least 2 accounts and some even completely left x now. The transition is even faster now for obvious reasons. Not a statistical perspective just my personal perception

I left Twitter its full of bots and hate speech. Also I had no reach and have more engagement with less than 100 followers on Blusky than I had the last year in X with 7k

I want nothing to do with something like Blue Sky which will censor things to their way of thinking.
That type of thinking is what got Trump elected in the first place.
You want a feel good place were you can talk about butterflies and pink fairly tales instead of reality where both good and bad and evil and politicians like Trudeau, Trump, Putin and billionaires like Musk who are only interested in money. I will stick with X.

Here is reality for you.
While many will bitch and complain about Musk and Trump and hate speech etc…. blah blah blah.
They will not discontinue X and switch completely to Blue Sky simply because X reaches a much wider audience and hence attracts more clients.
Funny how the very people that complain about the ultra rich Musk will stick around for the same reason money lol.
I couldn’t care less, for me it is purely entertainment and information, I don’t like Musk I think he is awkward and has zero social skills but yes he is certainly smart and may just be the richest guy around, that doesn’t happen by just luck or coincidence.

To answer OP’s question. It’s not as popular as Twitter for now but a lot of us have secured a handle on there to make sure no one will try to impersonate us…

Some have completely given up on Twitter and moves to Blue, some are doing both and some are doing none…

Blue Sky is another planet.
It’s called Blue for a reason.
(The colors are opposite in the US)
If you’re MAGA, lean hard right, a bot or spread conspiracies, it’s not the place.
Users will not engage and will block.
You have more control of what you see.
(Not sure what Admin blocks.)
There are some centrists but it’s a liberal “bubble”. Like FOX News for the left.
People engage like they might at a cocktail party. Polite to a fault.
Understand it is almost all different shades of Libera/Center left, and not representative of the real world.
People want a break from X, Musk, hate & propaganda.
~1/3 of the posts rip on Trump. No PP fans.

Understand it’s not a platform to hear or change/challenge alternative opinions, but IMO, people have chosen sides & there’s not much movement either way.

If we get back to the original question, X/Twitter was well known for deleting SW content and/or profiles, not sure which and it seems Bluesky doesn't have an issue with this or at least for the time being, social networks have been known for changing their mind on this specific topic.
And yes as mentioned in other posts the political orientations of the 2 platforms are quite opposite.
To be honest i don't use those kind of platforms for political discussions cause it's mostly a waste of my time
