I have travelled all across this country and elsewhere, a few years ago I had the opportunity to go to the Charlevoix region for a conference and all I can say is WOW ! I wasn't aware that there was an area in Quebec that was so beautiful. The people are friendly and the prices are not over the top and there is plenty to do. I went to Tadousac to take the whale watching excursion while there, what an amazing experience that was with a small side trip up the Saguenay river. If you have never been put this area on your bucket list, truly worth the time and only a few hours away
